General overview
Quiet suburban neighborhood in Central Ohio. 8 miles to The Ohio State University where you can find the world’s largest cartoon library and museum (features original Calvin and Hobbes art work), 3 miles from the Jack Hannah Columbus Zoo, 15 miles to COSI-an AMAZING kids science museum, about 1 hour to Hocking Hills (internationally acclaimed state park), and about 2 hours from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. I can leave my library card behind which allows you to check out FREE passes to the zoo, children’s theatre, botanical garden (featuring Chihuly blown glass, glass blowing workshops, and an EXCELLENT outdoor kids nature space), ballet, symphony, art museum (which is also free every Sunday), clippers baseball game, gay men’s chorus, arboretum, Ohio History Center (family-friendly and interactive), Veterans Memorial Museum, and Pro-Musica Chamber Music. So, by using our public library card for these free passes, you can have a rich cultural experience FOR FREE, making this a budget friendly trip. We also have 20 free Metro Parks in the area, which feature 20 outstanding natural area parks with more than 230 miles of trails and over 28,500 acres of land in seven central Ohio counties. Includes a working historical farm that often features live actor/workers for fun educational experiences.
The main living area and sleeping areas are all on one floor, making the home accessible for elderly family members or those with mobility issues (it does require small steps up, but all living areas are on one floor once in the house). Our home is full of musical instruments, electric fireplace, a telescope, a good sized kitchen, gaming counsels, and board games. Furniture is comfy and inviting and perfect for snuggles.
The space
2 bedrooms available. An extra office with a pull out couch can be made available for a 3rd bedroom if mutually agreed upon, otherwise it will be locked. 2 full bathrooms (one with a tub, one with a walk in shower that has a tiny lip to enter). Backyard with a patio, grill, fire pit for s’mores, and personal kids playground. Modest home gym in the basement with a peloton indoor bike and free weights. There is also a kids crafting and science area in the basement, too.

Everything is on one main floor. The house is fairly accessible, though does require steps to get in.

Getting to my home
Road travel will be easiest via car. There is a bus line that’s within walking distance, but the bus system is not expansive or robust, so will require pre-planning.

Getting around
Car will be most convenient by far. It’s possible to borrow a car if we discuss and mutually decide. There is a bus line within walking distance, but is not expansive of frequent. There are restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance, but if would be a bit of a trek. Our neighborhood is relatively suburban.
