General overview
We own a small, eco house on Brač island in Croatia, that we usually offer for holiday rentals. You can see more information, photos and reviews if you search online for 'Eco House with a stunning view' + 'Supetar, Croatia'. A listing on a popular rentals website will pop up.
Our house is modest but the main attraction is more about what's on the outside than what's inside.
The space
It's a tiny house, solar-powered, with 2 bedrooms (B1 queen bed for 2 people, B2 two single beds plus a small bunk bed for a child), equipped kitchen and bathroom, sea views, outdoor shower, kids playground, verandah, BBQ, 4G wifi, garden to water and 2 cats to feed.
As it's solar powered, there are some limitations with the appliances. To use the air conditioning, you'd need to turn on power generator. High power surge appliances (like hair dryer or mixer) can't be used.
Sea views and the beach is 15 min walk from the house.
We can also offer use of our car so you can explore the island.
Guest access
It's a single level mobile home but there are 4 steps up to the verandah.
Notes
We kindly ask for 30 euros cleaning fee as washing the sheets and towels involves carrying them into the town to be washed and ironed. If you bring your own sheets and towels, then it's 10 euros cleaning fee.
**The house is not very 'liveable' between November and March, as there's no heating, solar battery is not as full due to shorter days and winds are strong in this open space, so we don't recommend a stay during that time, unless you're an adventurer and are used to camping conditions, in which case get in touch anyway!**

Neighbourhood
No immediate neighbours, no light pollution, perfect for a quiet retreat and star gazing.
Perfect for hiking or cycling holiday, with lots of scenic trails.
Our nearest neighbours have free range chickens so you can get fresh, organic eggs, and another neighbour has home made olive oil.
There's a mini market in the village, for the necessities, small bakery and a beach cafe.
Neighbours below us own a tavern if you'd like a traditional meal.
There are large supermarkets a short drive away in Supetar.
Things to do:
Supetar offers various rentals: ATV (quad), bicycle, scooter, kayaks, car and boats.
There's a marina, so if you decide to hire a boat or arrive with your own, there's a place to moor them.
Getting to my home
To reach the island, Split airport is most convenient (30 min shuttle from airport to the port, and then 50 min on the ferry from Split to Supetar port). But you can also fly into Dubrovnik airport and take a speedboat to the island.
Other potential airports are Brač island airport (very limited, usually charter flights) and Zadar airport.
Unfortunately, flight options are limited outside summer season. So already in October some routes stop, become less frequent or flight prices go up.
You can also take the overnight ferry from either Ancona or Bari in Italy (Jadrolinija and SNAV).
In summer season, there are also sleeper trains (Nightjet) from Switzerland & Germany to Zagreb or Rijeka, and from Austria, Slovakia and Slovenia to Split.
I can help you plan and book transport.
Supetar is connected to Split with ferries which run approximately 10 times a day, so you can easily pop over to Split.
Other ports on Brač are:
> Bol (catamaran to/from Split, Makarska, Hvar, Korčula, Mljet, Vis, Dubrovnik)
> Sutivan (catamaran to/from Split, Šolta)
> Milna (catamaran to/from Split, Hvar, Korčula, Mljet, Vis, Dubrovnik)
> Sumartin (ferry to/from Makarska)
Transport companies are:
> Jadrolinija.hr (ferries and catamarans)
> Krilo.hr (catamarans)
> TP-Line.hr (catamarans)
> Arriva (buses)
> KSC (Krilo Shipping Company)
Nearest airport
Brac airport, Split airport
Getting around
Local transport:
There's a local bus connecting nearby towns that runs few times a day. But otherwise, a car or a bicycle is necessary (unless you're OK with using taxis - there's no rideshare on the island).

We own a small, eco house on Brač island in Croatia, that we usually offer as Airbnb rental.
As this is the secondary residence, we can do simultaneous or non-simultaneous swap.
I will sometimes travel with my mum.
About us:
I'm (37) currently a digital nomad, travel-sitting around Europe. I used to work in travel and have lived in the UK for the past 8 years, but after pandemic, I've been feeling restless and want to travel so I've been doing it via house-sitting.
My mum's (69) an extrovert, loves meeting new people, music and dancing, and enjoys a glass of wine or vermouth.
We both love architecture, museums, galleries, photography, cats and trying new food. We're non smokers.
