We are very grateful to Emma and Rico for hosting us during our stay. Overall, it was a great base for our family trip! What we loved: - Great Location: Excellent location for exploring child-friendly local beaches and Brownsea Island. -Warm Welcome & Communication: Emma was very responsive throughout. We really appreciated the thoughtful welcome gesture—drinks for us and sweets for the kids upon arrival! - Fantastic for Kids: The house is brilliant for families. There are plenty of beds, toys in every bedroom, plus a dedicated playroom and a craft room. The host also left out a pool in the garden. -Amenities: The home was well-equipped with all the practical appliances we needed for a comfortable stay. A few things to note for future guests: Cleanliness & Pets: As a busy family home with three children and cats, the cleaning standards were a bit lower than we anticipated, which may be worth keeping in mind for sensitive guests. Fragrances: There was a strong use of chemical air fresheners/scents throughout the house, which we found a bit overwhelming at times. Lighting: The bedrooms could benefit from extra reading lights/bedside lamps. Thank you again to Emma and Rico for opening up their home to us and giving us the opportunity to explore the area!

Hello Azul, Thank you so much for the feedback. I am very surprised at your reference to a chemical smell as we are a chemical free house and only use eco products. Perhaps it was the essential oil that you could smell? Our floor cleaner, toilet cleaner, washing up liquid, candles, surface cleaner, hand sanitiser are all home made or eco products. We do not use any air fresheners. We also do not have any cats in the home. We do have dogs in and out but I did spend the weekend before your stay cleaning the home (we cannot afford professional cleaners). I would love if you could please pm me any areas that you felt needed more work so that we can make sure everything is 100% for future guests? I will add the information on our bedroom night lights to our welcome guide thank you I’m so glad you enjoyed your stay and everything that the area as to offer! 😊

It's always a pleasure to stay at Emma's and Rico's. It's close to the sea and convenient for shops etc. This time, we visited Boscombe and Swanage. We love the cats! Luna is very chatty and both have big personalities. Thanks again for letting us stay.

Emma and Rico's home was lovely, clean, and had everything we needed. We loved staying there and spending time with her sweet cats, Luna and Loki. Bournemouth is such a great place to explore on its own, and it's close enough to London and the Jurassic Coast for day trips. Emma was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our exchange. We would highly recommend Emma and Rico's home to anyone!

We were lucky to spend our Easter break in Emma’s beautiful family home. We loved taking care of their two beautiful cats, had a lovely time and their cozy home and really enjoyed the area around beautiful Dorset. So much to do and see, and ideal during the off-season! Thanks for letting us stay again Emma and Rico. We really appreciated your spacious home and especially your gorgeous cats. It was a short 15 minute drive to the beach, so much sand! A lovely walk on a warm March day. And an easy walk to the shopping centre, with a big choice of large stores - very convenient. The beds are comfy and we all slept well. Thanks again! Great exchange with Emma and Rico! Bournemouth is centrally located to see so many beautiful natural areas, historical sites (loved Corfe Castle), and coastlines (Jurassic Coast was stunning!), but also close to all the conveniences of a big city. You can even walk to the nearest market, but best to hire a car to do more exploring. Their home is great for families with lots of beds for children as well as toys and a yard to play in. Exchangers must love cats as they have 2 beautiful, playful, and curious Maine Coons that love company! Emma answered all our questions, gave great recommendations on what to see to fit our interests, and communicated in a timely manner during our entire stay. Thanks you for a special stay in South England!

Emma and Rico kindly let Tim and Leo stay at their comfortable home for the weekend. The cats warmed to them and got very friendly by the end of the weekend. The house is very close to supermarkets and an outlet centre. It was perfect for visiting our relatives in Dorset. Thanks for hosting us, and for the great communication.

Emma's home is in the perfect location for visiting Bournemouth and beyond. We went to Lyme Regis just over an hour away on the Jurrasic coast. And other local beaches. It was great to have a family exchange with similar children, they really enjoyed playing with their toys and of course their cats. Would highly recommend Emma's home for exploring Dorset.

Emma’s home is ideal for cat lovers, families and people who want to visit the south coast of England. We really enjoyed our weekend exchange and since we know the area and have family who live locally, it was great to explore some new places, especially the Jurassic coast which is under an hour away. Our kids loved playing with the cats who love being around people and are playful and gentle with children. They also took advantage of all the different toys to play with in the playroom and loved the trampoline outside. Although we didn’t actually visit the Bournemouth beaches, Emma’s home is ideally situated to visit them. She had some great recommendations for places to visit with children and places to eat which is always appreciated, saving time on research. This was their first exchange and we were really happy to be their first. I’m sure it’ll be the first of many very successful exchanges in the future.
