General overview
Our home is part of an unique spacious and cultural protected villa, a four floor townhouse in a small community of five residences on the nearest archipelago islands to Stockholm. It holds a with a garden and outdoor barbecue with evening sun, only 15 minutes from Stockholm city center. The island Lidingö has amazing areas for outdoor life, sailing, hiking, horseback riding and so much more. Our home is designed by us (professional designers) with much love and thought into every detail. The house is from 1906 but completely renovated in 2019. The home has a large open social area from the kitchen on the ground floor with exit to the private garden with barbecue and evening sun. Second floor holds master bedrooms and master bath. Gym, studio, sauna and laundry room in the basement and guest/yoga room on the third.

Guest access
You will have access to all of the house and garden excluding an office and a workshop space that will be locked for storage. two private parking spaces just by the door.
Notes
We have a beautiful cat called Ilse. She is a bengal which means that she's hypoallergenic and only 1/10 people who normally is allergic to cats can react on her. Ilse is mostly outdoors and during summer time she comes home for lunch and dinner and then she's out again, through her own cat flap. But if you're lucky you'll meet her!
If you'd prefer an exchange without Ilse, we can arrange for her not be at home.

Neighbourhood
Our home is situated on the nearest archipelago islands to Stockholm. A quite and safe area only 15 minutes car ride from Stockholm city center and 3 minutes to Lidingö town centre. Lidingö has amazing areas for outdoor life, sailing, skiing, hiking, horseback riding and so much more. With Swedish nature, the ocean, a kids friendly lake for swimming and bathing at your doorstep. The area is equally suitable for kids as anyone who enjoys nature, outskirts in the archipelago and closeness to urban areas.
On the island wintertime, we are proud of our very own skiing slope with lifts just seven minutes from the house. There are always long miles of cross-country skiing tracks and long-distance ice skating on the ocean and lake nearby, as soon as the snow has fallen and ice has set.

Getting to my home
You can easily get around in the neighborhood or into the city with public transportation for glossary shopping or going to one of the many spots by the ocean or a lake. Both Uber and Bolt is available for taxi. However this is a suburban area and a car is recommended but not needed.

The closest Airport is Bromma Stockholm airport (15km) and Arlanda (43km) The central train station is in the city center and 12km away.
Getting around
Lidingö is a small sub urban city of 50 000 people and has everything you will need is within a 5- 10 min car ride or a 20 min walk from the house is Lidingö centre. Two Bus stops are 5-6 minuts walk away and can take you around the island or into the city. you have many good beach spots by the ocean or the child friendly lake beach with in a 5 -10 min car ride .
