General overview

Nice familly house located in Randers, Denmark. The town is the 6. biggest in Denmark, and has the oldest pedestrian steet in Denmark (1963). As well as shops, cafés and restaurants, the town centre has historic buildings and a few museums. You will also find Randers Regnskov, which is a wonderful tropical zoo, situated in three large domes. If you like fishing, there are a lot of places nearby, both in seawater and fresh water. If you like to take a walk in nature, there are some really nice paths, including some along the river. If you feel like going to a bigger city, for the day, Denmarks 2nd largest city Aarhus is a 35 minute drive away. 1 hour drive away, you will find Djurs Sommerland, a big amusement park, that is fun for children of all ages and for adults too. We all enjoy going there every year. 1,5 hour drive away you will find Legoland, another great amusement park.

The space

The house has an open-plan kitchen livingroom, 3 bedrooms. 1 king size bed, 4 single beds. 1 bathroom with a shower and a hot tub, and one toilet. In the living room there is a wood burning-stowe, and we have a lot of wood, so you are more than welcome to use it. The garden is surrounded by a hedge, and is really nice for the kids. There are two football-goals, a play area with a slide and a swing set. And also a big trampoline with safety-net around. There are two pattioes, one of which is covered. During the summer, we sometimes take the airbed outside and sleep on the covered pattio (The kids love it).

Guest access

The house is in one level and easy to acces. We have set of bicylces that you are welcome to use. There are two adult bicycles, and one to a 4-8year old, and one to a 6-10year old.

We are a family of four, who love to travel. Dad is a Technical Manager for a coffee company and mom is a Planner for a company in the healthcare industry. Our children are 8 and 11 years old. The idea of home exchange appeals to us, as we would welcome the opportunity to share our home and the area that we enjoy living in.
