Glebe is walking distance from the CBD, but yet has a village atmosphere to it. We don't need a car here and if we ever do, there's a car share just outside the back gate.
We love living here - it's one of the oldest houses around (1850s), but we have renovated it to have a modern feel, you can even have a bath outside and finally find the Southern Cross.
The kitchen is our main place to be, if you like to cook you will feel at home here, it's 300m to the Sydney Fish Markets, and there's a large Shopping Centre (Broadway) down the road - so the supplies are plenty.
We have 3 bedrooms (2 kids, 1 parent), a living room and separate seating in the kitchen, and a family room with a desk if you intend to work.
Blackwattle Bay parks are just down the road and public transport is at your doorstep - welcome to Sydney.

People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
