General Overview

This property is part of an extensive community park neighborhood. It is brimming with wildlife and is directly across the street from two tennis courts, a frisbee golf course, a fitness-nature trail, basketball courts, a National Croquet Club, as well as soccer and baseball fields. It is also within walking distance to an 18 hole public golf course, restaurants, shops and grocery stores. The neighbors are very friendly and care deeply about this little slice of heaven.

The Space

Because it sits on a corner lot, the front, side and backyards are spacious and provide extra privacy. The lot is about a 1/3 of an acre. Professional landscapers take care of the yard. The home is split between the main house, which includes a spacious master suite with private bathroom a second guest room with full bathroom, a recently updated eat-in kitchen and a living room/dining room. The main house wraps around the private courtyard pool and there is an additional 'Casita' bedroom with full bath that can be accessed through the courtyard. All 3 bedrooms have king sized beds. The living room sofa also pulls out into a double bed. Additionally, there is a screened in lanai and outdoor grill at the rear of the house that looks out onto an abundance of greenery and wildlife. The house includes a two car garage and a fully equipped laundry room.

Guest Access

One floor - no stairs. Access from the garage, the front and back doors is flat and stairless. This place is remarkably easy to navigate. The neighborhood also sponsors a community room and heated pool with kayak launch.

Notes

The neighborhood is open to all ages. Most of the homeowners are between 55 - 75 y/o. It is a very quiet and relaxing.

Beautiful landscaping, 2 fishable ponds, and a 160 acre community park across the street that includes baseball diamonds, soccer fields, frisbee golf, tennis/pickleball courts, and a US Sanctioned Croquet field. 1/2 mile to an Olympic Show Jumping Equestrian Center. 3 miles to the pristine beaches of Venice Island.

Nearest airport

Tampa is the furthest, but has the best flight availability.

Getting Around

Public transportation is limited. Rental cars are the best option. (Uber and Lyft are excellent pay-per-use options.)

Burt and Robin

We are Burt and Robin from sunny Venice, Florida, USA. We own a 3 bedroom courtyard 'Casita' home with private pool. It is situated approximately 4 km from the Gulf Coast and some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. We live across the street from an amazing community park with tennis courts, soccer fields, baseball diamonds, basketball, frisbee golf and a National Croquet Club. We are also less than 3 km to a world-renowned Show Jumping Equestrian Center. We love the abundance of nature surrounding us and think you will too.
