General Overview

The flat is a peaceful oasis in the beating heart of hackney. You’re a stone’s throw away from all the buzz in Dalston, Stoke Newington and Hackney Central, but on a quiet road by Hackney downs park. We have a load of fantastic hidden and less hidden gems; food, drink and entertainment, all a short walk from our front door: Papos bagels, Sonora Taqueria, Bake Street, Lodestar Coffee, Oren, Brunswick East, Dusty Knuckle, Bar Doña, Mambow, My Neighbours the Dumplings, Esters, Clissold Park, the Auld Shillelagh, Hai cafe, Rio cinema, Bar Doña, Dalston Superstore, the list is endless! I work in central London and it’s an easy journey in. Our closest overground is Rectory Road a 5 mins walk away, and I usually get the line north for a couple of stops to Seven Sisters before getting the Victoria line into central. Or I get the line south to Liverpool Street, which is 10 or so mins away, and there it’s very easy to get around on Elizabeth and other lines. We are also a 15-20 mins walk from Dalston junction and Dalston kingsland stations. The flat itself is a cute little two bed with everything you could possibly need. The second room is set up as an office/ music studio, but we have a big l shaped sofa in the lounge with a really comfortable sofa bed (I should know, as we always sleep on it when the in laws are visiting :)).

Hi all! Really excited to be here. We're a couple living in London. Elliott is a Scottish sound engineer/vinyl cutter/DJ (they're the one in a kilt!), and I'm a lawyer working in the public sector. We generally travel alone but sometimes a friend or couple may accompany us (and we'll let you know if that's the case :)). My partner and I live in a lovely 2 bed flat in the heart of Hackney, London, surrounded by all sorts of ‘hidden gems’. It’s really the best borough in the city!
