Tim & Akeelah

After backpacking around the world for 13 months in 2011, my wife and I arrived back home in Chicago and quickly realized we wanted a change of scenery. We abruptly pulled up stakes and moved to Florida’s beautiful gulf coast where we started our family. After traveling mostly domestically over the past several years, our sons (8 and 9) are now hungry to see more of the world and we can’t wait to show it to them! We love experiencing new countries and cultures, food, cities, nature, all of it. We really like the concept of home swapping and can’t wait to welcome people to our home here in sunny south Florida.
