General Overview

If you are interested in a trip to the beautiful Catskill Mountains we would to welcome your family.  Our family of four uses this home as our retreat from New York City life (2.5 hours away by car).  We ski, hike, and relax while in the Catskills and hope you will do the same.  

This is a lovely location if you are looking to take in the beauty of the country or will be staying in New York City and want to break up your trip with a bit of countryside.  We are happy to offer suggestions, as there are many wonderful, small towns to explore close by.

The Space

Our home is spacious and well laid out for a group. We have three bedrooms upstairs and two large bedrooms downstairs, each level has a common area for watching movies, gathering, and just having a great time.  Each living area also has a fireplace, and our downstairs has a bar area, with table for late night fun.   Of course we have two young girls who have some toys at the home, children are welcome to use what is available- we hope they have fun.  We have three full bathrooms, each with its own bathtub.

Getting to my home

This is a rural area, you will need a car in this location to truly get the most of your trip.  Though it is lovely to just gaze at the beautiful landscape you'll want to check out local waterfalls, maybe some cool playgrounds, or visit nearby towns with tasty restaurants or small play houses.

Hello! My name is Jenna, I live in Brooklyn, NY in a fantastic area with views of the Statue of Liberty, Freedom Tower and the East River (watch cruise ships, Staten Island Ferry and helicopters while you’re making dinner- also great for transportation obsessed children!).  

I live with my two daughters and husband.  We all love to travel and have enjoyed swaps in Paris, Italy, Washington DC, and Florida- but can't wait to explore more through this site!   Happy to share our beautiful home in NYC as well as our Catskills home (upstate New York) with others who love to travel and see the world!
