Wimberley has been written up hundreds of time over the years as the best small town to move to, best small town to visit, cleanest water etc. Wimberley is located in Hays county, which for years, was the fastest growing county in America. According to NeighborhoodScout, Wimberley has a violent crime rate of 0 per 1,000 residents, Our home is perfect for families! There’s a bunk bed in the kid’s bedrooms, so everyone has their own cozy spot. Kids will love the toys, both indoors & outdoors. Stay fit in our home gym with weights & cardio. Need to get work done? Our dedicated home office is all set up for you. And when it's time to relax, enjoy a soak in the tub. Whether you're here to relax or seek adventure, our place has everything to make your stay unforgettable! We have a pack 'n' play and a high chair that you can use and the house is toddler proof with cabinet locks, toilet locks installed and baby gates and door knob covers provided We have cat that I'd prefer to stay here, she is sweet indoor/outdoor with a cat flap and her own area in the office (she may want to sit in your lap while you work or just lie on the desk and look out the window). We also have 2 dogs that we can leave with a pet sitter

The Space

Our home was built in 2021 and is bright open and airy with white walls, 10’ ceilings throughout, an open floor plan, original artwork, and an eclectic MCM vibe. Our home is fully family friendly because we have a 2 & 3 year old. We have: blackout curtains and white noise machines in all of the bedrooms, a pack 'n' play, high chair, baby gates, door knob covers available and cabinet latches and toilet locks already installed for complete peace of mind. For your young child’s entertainment we have a pottery barn play kitchen, toy shelf with Montessori inspired toys, activity cube, cars, stuffed animals, doll house, books for 5 and under. Outside we have a 14’ trampoline, a jungle gym for kids 5+, 2 toddler slides, a water table, and a large collapsible pool The children’s rooms are decorated with colorful art, have blackout curtains, a nightlight, a rug, bookshelf and a floor bunk bed with detachable ladders so even your youngest child can’t roll out of the bottom bunk while sleeping or climb to the top and hurt themselves. In one room we also have a changing table and a rocking chair. If you are into fitness our garage has been turned into a home gym with a lot of natural light and a window unit for AC and a space heater. It has gym quality dumbbells 5 - 100 lbs that we bought from Anytime Fitness, we also have an Oly bar, plates and collars, a gym floor, pylo boxes and medicine balls that we bought from a CrossFit gym, an elliptical, a peloton, a stand up Everlast punching bag, yoga mats and foam rollers and a smart TV for music, fitness classes or to watch while you do your cardio. Our home is in a perfect, central location to explore and enjoy everything Wimberley and central Texas has to offer. The house is located one row back from the Double J Ranch Golf Club course and less than a mile to its entrance, less than a mile to Woodcreek Playground, you will be also be less than a mile from the world famous Jacob’s Well, a mile to the Winter’s Mill trailhead, 1.5 miles from Morrow Park and Playground, 4.5 miles from Blue Hole with it’s swimming hole, hiking trails and playground. The grocery store, HEB, is is 2.5 miles away & 3.5 miles to Wimberley’s Square with all its shops, restaurants and bars This area is also known for its wineries, there are several in the area we have similar climates and soil compositions to those of grape-growing areas in Spain If you want to get out of town our central location will be advantageous because from here it is so easy to take a day trip to surrounding towns and cities: 17 minute drive to Dripping Springs 20 minutes to San Marcos 20 minutes to Kyle 25 minutes to Buda 27 minutes to Canyon Lake 30 minutes to Blanco (Blanco State Park) 40 minute drive to Austin 47 minutes to New Braunfels (& Schlitterbahn) 65 minute to San Antonio (Sea World, The River Walk and Six Flags) We can help with family friendly itineraries and I have recommendations for baby sitters Maid service can provided once a month if you want a longer stay and lawn maintenance will be provided semi-monthly

Wimberley is a dark sky community and that means everyone leave their outside lights off at night and because of those Wimberley is a beautiful place to see the stars

Neighbourhood

We live in Woodcreek, a small town directly adjacent to Wimberley. It has a centralized golf course and our house is the second row from the course and just a mile from the entrance

Getting to my home

You will need a car to get here and get around, we are open to a car swap We have a 2024 Kia Sorento hybrid that has 3rd row seating

Austin Bergstrom is the closest airport, it’s about 45 minutes away

Getting Around

We are just a few miles from the center of town, there is no public transportation and no bike lanes so you’d definitely need a car
