Come stay at our beloved home in the heart of Los Angeles! We have lived here for seven years, and love how the green hills surrounding us are a peaceful reprieve amidst the hustle and bustle of LA. Our favorite thing to do is sit on the couch as a family and play games, drink coffee on our front porch, or make s'mores over our fire pit in the backyard under the stars. We have a five-year-old son and three cats (two indoor and one outdoor), so our house has plenty of kids books, games, puzzles, art supplies, and outdoor toys to keep you busy. We have central AC and heating, so you'll be comfortable no matter what time of year you visit.
We hope you make wonderful memories here, just as we have!
The space
We have a living room, dining room, kitchen, two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a playroom/office.
Our beds are a Queen and Twin (which sleep 3), and we also have a cot that can be used to sleep a 4th person comfortably. Our separate guest studio can sleep an additional 2.
In addition to our main house that can sleep 4, we also have a studio in the back that can sleep 2, and is a wonderful private workspace. It’s perfect for a family who want to travel while working remotely, and need a quiet space for a few hours!
Guest access
We have two small flights of stairs to reach our main house, as well as more in the back yard. We recommend only staying at our home if you're comfortable and able to walk up steps.
Notes
We have three cats that need to be fed. They are very sweet and friendly, and would love to cuddle with you while you're here!

Neighbourhood
We live in the Highland Park neighborhood of Northeast Los Angeles (in between Pasadena and Glendale), a wonderful area that has incredible restaurants, boutiques, parks and coffee shops all within walking distance from our house. Want coffee, ramen, or ice cream? You can walk down to York Blvd! Want bars and upscale restaurants? Figueroa is a five minute drive away! We are also a short drive to Universal Studios, Disneyland, Downtown LA, Hollywood, Eagle Rock, Beverly Hills, and all of the amazing beaches along the coast (Santa Monica, Malibu, Newport) - not to mention only a few hours from Legoland, San Diego Safari Park, Lake Arrowhead, Palm Springs, and Santa Barbara. There are also tons of great kids activities nearby, including Kidspace Museum, the Science Center, the Santa Monica Pier, countless playgrounds, and the incredible Bob Baker Marionette Theater. We LOVE living here - there is always something new to see, do, or eat! :)
Getting to my home
Both LAX and Burbank airports are easily accessible from our house, and the FlyAway bus service can get you close enough to take a ride share from the bus station to our home if you're not renting a car.
We have plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and a Target all within walking distance. However, to see any other sites in Los Angeles we strongly recommend a car rental or using ride share.
We have a driveway that can accommodate one car!
