South Melbourne is a great suburb to live in and to be a visitor to Melbourne. It scores well for access to culture, retail, cafes, pubic transport availability, employment, walkability and access to cycle ways - with easy access to the CBD, coastal beaches of Port Melbourne and South Melbourne. We have the lively South Melbourne indoor market, about 6 minutes walk away, which offers retail, produce, meat & seafood and cafes serving global fare. We are close to the Albert Park sporting precinct including the Sports and Aquatic Centre and also the Royal Botanic Gardens. There are great pubs, restaurants and cafes within a short walk. We have great neighbours and a beautiful outlook to two storey Victorian terraces across the road. Parking is on-street, if you choose to get a car.
