General Overview

Our townhouse is conveniently located a few minutes from the Town of Collingwood. A small town with big city influence with the best restaurants and shopping anywhere. Many of the residents are city folk who come north for the weekend to enjoy fresh air and a healthy lifestyle. Looking for recreation? There isn't anything you can't do here. Blue Mountain Resorts for downhill skiing is minutes from our home. Scenic Caves has cross country skiing and limestone caves to explore in off season. We have several Beaches, lots of golf courses, hiking & cycling trails that extend for miles and miles., The Bruce Trail is in your back yard. Join a yoga class, go fishing, try some tennis or pickleball or enjoy the waterfront and rent a boat or sea doo. Off season is a great time for hiking and cycling with cooler temperatures. Downhill skiing is best from Mid-January to the end of March. The summer beach weather starts in June. Day trip to Toronto to the theatre, CN Tower or a ball game or concert. Venture to Niagara Falls in about 2.5 hours or head North to the famous Algonquin Park. The Space

The townhouse is very large, about 3500 sq ft. The main floor has living area with gas fireplace, TV, kitchen and full dining room. Walk out to the back deck with BBQ. Primary bedroom and bathroom are on this level so no stairs to deal with. Second bathroom and covered front porch. Upper level has 2 bedrooms, dedicated workspace, living area with large wall mounted flat screen TV, and full bathroom. Lower level has 4th bathroom, queen size bed, living area and another wall mounted smart TV. Internet is excellent and cable offers a great selection of local stations and Netflix.

Guest Access

The townhouse is in a community of approx. 150 units, backing onto the Cranberry Public Golf Course. In off season, it is a wonderful place to walk and bike through and it adjoints several trails leading to town. We have a recreation center on site with outdoor pool, gym, common room, games room, and infrared sauna. The center hosts a happy hour each Friday and many potlucks and social events you are welcome to join. We are less than 3KM to the heart of Collingwood an easy bike ride. There are a few restaurants within walking distance from the townhouse. Across the street is a marina with paddle board and sea doo rentals. The ski area is about 3km away, great downhill skiing at BLUE MOUNTAIN RESORTS owned by Intrawest.

Notes

We have an abundance of wineries and craft breweries and cideries. all very close by, some right in town. Get on the BEER Bus, Go for a wine tour, do your own! My name is Gail, I love the outdoors and all it offers. I am almost retired and love to travel as much as I can. I travel mostly with my partner Read and my sister Jacky. I love to golf, play tennis and pickleball and hike. I love to do anything outside, but the beach and mountains are the best! I am from a resort town north of Toronto in Ontario Canada. We have everything you might want or need for your vacation. Skiing, hiking, cycling, golf, tennis and the longest freshwater beach in the world. Our townhouse is very close to everything, just a few minutes to most things and we have an outdoor pool, gym, infrared sauna and games room at our clubhouse. Our community is friendly and quiet. The townhouse is well equipped and could comfortably accommodate 8 people. We have no pets.
