Suitable for 1 or 2 people.
The studio has two balconies. The kitchen balcony looks out to the Mont Blanc.
It is centrally located in Plagne Centre. Very easy access to the chairlifts. This would suit nature lovers and sports enthusiasts. Once you're in resort you have a whole playground on your doorstep: skiing, hiking, biking, rafting, paragliding. Some lovely restaurants too, with the typical alps fondue and raclette dishes on offer.
The scenery is stunning. Must be fit, as even to get to the chairlifts, restaurants etc you need to walk uphill (it's not steep but we are high in altitude). Having said that, there is a free shuttle bus that stops outside the residence. It will take you to the centre (it's one stop).
Even if you're not a skier/mountain biker, there are some fabulous trails for walking. The scenery is spectacular. Good for the soul.
I'm open to petsitting if needed. Love cats/dogs.
The space
My studio has a minimalist look (I've been here for 8 years but I'm often away). Even though it's a studio (bedroom is in the lounge room), it feels big because it's light.
The lounge room has a door that closes so I feel like it's more a one-bedroom rather than a studio.
There is a double bed plus a canapé (which could act as a bed for a child).
I can send more photo or we could do a video tour.
The bathroom has a tub and is fairly basic but a reasonable size.
The kitchen has an amazing view but looks like a student has only just moved in. Mini fridge, mini cooker, mini freezer.
I'm a writer, so this place is my writer's haven.
I have a desk in the lounge/bedroom.
I don't have internet (I use my phone. Sometimes it can be a bit slow because I'm in a mountain but it's ok).
In the summer, it's a completely different vibe to the winter. Lots of runners, hikers, biking.
I'm open to a simultaneous swap, or not.
The plus about my swap is the outdoors, not necessarily my studio (which is comfortable!)
Happy to send more photos/answer questions.
Guest access
On the second floor, no lift. No private carpark but general outdoor parking available.
Down the mountain, there is a large supermarket with a car rental office. It's reasonably priced.
Notes
It's a French Alpine expérience. Come, enjoy.

Neighbourhood
La Plagne is a sports paradise. Neighbouring resorts include Tignes, Val d'Isère, Méribel. You'd need a car to get around however.
Also, in the resort we have supermarkets but they are small and expensive (you'd need to drive down the mountain to the big supermarket, or there is a bus).
Getting to my home
Nearest airports are Geneva and Lyon. From there you'd need to organize a taxi/shared transfer.
Nearest train station is Aime La Plagne. From the train station, there is a bus that comes up the mountain and leaves you in Plagne Centre. The flat is walking distance from there.

Getting around
Shops are within walking distance (10 minutes). Be aware that you can walk up a mild slope or take the shortcut (which are some steel stairs embedded in the mountain, and it's like a workout).

Hello.
I'm an Australian living in a ski resort in France. It's called La Plagne. In the summer it offers great sporting activities too (mountain biking, paragliding, white water rafting). There is a free bus service during the season that circulates around the resort.
I'm a kids writer (a series about a marmot who sneaks out at night to do mountain sports).
I'm looking at swapping in Melbourne or London at the moment.
