General overview
Our home is a lovely bungalow in a friendly neighborhood. We have been renovating the whole place to make the perfect place to live.
The space
The living room is full of sunlight during the day but private at night with the automated full blackout curtains. It also features a large tv and plenty of toddler toys.
The kitchen is renovated and fully equipped, with quartz countertops, induction stove, new microwave, oven and dishwasher. It is very well illuminated with two windows and two modern lights you can control with Alexa.
The master bedroom features a comfy king size bed with a dimmable ambiance light on the headboard you can also control with Alexa. Set the light to cyan color to relax before going to sleep!
The second bedroom is equipped with a kids bed that converts into a queen bed. Wonderful option if you come with your family!
There is also a third room which currently works as an office. Do you need to do some remote work? This is the perfect room for the tranquility you may need to focus.
The full bathroom counts with a walk-in shower, equipped with safety bars in case you need some help and safety. It has its own seat inside if you just want to relax with the steam.
And the best of all, if you are coming during those warm months of the year, we have a wonderful fully covered deck to enjoy the outdoors, rain or shine. Day and night as well with the dimmable pot lights installed on the ceiling. We have a new seating set to sit and relax, and a table where you can enjoy the meal prepared in the gas BBQ installed. From the deck, you can see all the backyard, fully fenced, while you enjoy your time and your kids are playing around.
(We also have a basement with a family room, a kitchenette, and a powder room, but it is currently under renovations. Updates will come soon.)
Guest access
The house is a bungalow and everything is on the main floor except for the laundry and powder room in the basement. There is also a family/party room in the basement currently undergoing renovations, please reach out since it may be available when you're coming :).
Notes
We have a regular outlet under the carport that can be used for level 1 EV charging.
We have 2 fur babies. Yuki is a calm and lovely chihuahua mix that loves sitting at your feet while you are watching tv, and Xulgo is a very social and cuddly Alaskan Klee Kai that loves playing and going outside to the backyard. Depending on the dates, they might need to be attended (fed and walked), it can be discussed as per request. We also have an aquarium with two turtles, but they only eat once a week so it may only be necessary to feed them if the stay is longer than that.

Neighbourhood
We live in a lovely neighborhood with walking access to several parks and a community center with an indoor pool. People in this neighborhood are very nice and friendly, always helping each other. You can feel safe here even walking around past midnight.
If you like the outdoors, there are several trails, including a waterfall sightseeing very close. Our favorite walk is around the mountain brow where you can see all downtown Hamilton from above, and the lake Ontario at the back. If you are here for a holiday, you might also go at night and enjoy seeing some fireworks.
In walking distance you can take a bus that will take you to some amenities such as groceries and restaurants, and also to downtown Hamilton so you can visit the city and the attractions it offers. But we can also have a bike to spare in case you prefer that option to move around.
Although Hamilton has a lot to offer, you might also be interested in other nearby attractions such as Niagara Falls (45 mins), Niagara on the Lake (55 mins), Toronto (60 mins), and London (70 mins). You can get to these places by car, or check the GO train and Go bus for more options. If you have the extra time to visit these places, it is totally worth it.
Nearest airport
There are several nearby international airports including Toronto (YYZ), Billy Bishop (YTZ), Hamilton (YHM), London (YXU), Waterloo (YKF), and Buffalo (BUF)
Getting around
There is a bus stop and several shops within a short walk. There are also several parks and a recreation center merely steps from it.

We are a family of three, I am a software engineer, my wife Beatriz is a copy editor, and we have a lovely 3 year old daughter, Elizabeth. We also have two fur babies, Xulgo and Yuki.
We love traveling and meeting different people and get to learn about their take on life. We enjoy dining out often and love trying new flavors when we travel. We are also big fans of amusement parks. When we want to relax it is equally likely to find us watching a movie, reading a good novel or playing a cooperative tabletop game or video game. We are big fans of sci-fi and fantasy. Last but not least we love making new friends!
We have some home exchange experience both as guests and hosts and when we visit someone's house we employ the same love and care we want for our home :).
