General Overview

Our home is newly renovated and modern. It is comfortably furnished and very cosy. It has all the amenities and comforts and space for everyone to enjoy. We are only a 10 min walk to the centre of town of Whistler. Whistler is an all around resort with the best skiing in the winter and beautiful mountains and adventure all summer. I love all 4 seasons. The home has a double garage and a hot tub in the back garden. It has a wood burning fire place for cosy nights in. We are ideally seeking time away in the winter to a sun destination. Whistler has so much to offer for everyone. We as a family enjoy ski, biking, hiking, paddle-board, water ski, snow mobile and dirt biking. There is no shortage of adventure. 35kms north of Whistler is Pemberton. Small town with loads of trails to bike and hike. Great horse riding. Whistler and Pemberton have amazing artisan and farmers markets all summer. There is 3 amazing golf courses in Whistler and 2 in Pemberton.

The Space

The open plan living area is cosy for all to hang out and chill, wine and dine and or play games. It has a large smart tv and a nice wood burning stove. The kitchen is well equipped for dining in. The master bedroom has its own bathroom. The other three bedroom consist of 2 queens and one set of bunks. The hot tub is under the back yard patio deck.

Guest Access

The house is on two levels. Garage and entry on the lower level and all living areas upstairs.

Notes

Our home is close to the valley trail. The valley trail circles all around whistler village and the entire valley. It is great for walks and bike rides. All biking trails are accessible from our house. You can walk into town in 10 mins. Whistler village has some of the finest cafes and restaurants. If you like downhill mountain bike then whistler bike park will not disappoint. There is 6 lakes in the immediate area to chill during the hot summer months. Many with sandy beaches. Our neighbourhood is very quiet. We also can leave 2 to 3 bikes at the house for you to use. Also we can leave our car for you as well.

Neighbourhood

We live in a quiet culdesac and one block away from Whistler golf course. Whistler has three amazing golf courses.

Getting to my home

It is relatively easy to find our home. Coming from Vancouver you take beautiful coast road highway 99 through Squamish all the way to Whistler. When you reach Whistler you take a left at traffic lights onto Lorimer Road. Drive for 1km and take a left onto Balsam and then left on to Flute.

Nearest airport

Vancouver Airport. 120kms away. 1.5 to 2 hours drive. Very convenient shuttles and town cars every day from the airport to Whistler. We could also work out leaving our car for you at the airport.

Getting Around

You can easily bus from Vancouver airport and get a taxi and/or bus to our home. There is a bus stop aprox 300 ft away from our house. If you dont drive to our home you can manage with using local bus and/or taxi. When in Whistler everything is within walking distance. Having a car is an advantage but you can manage without.

Richard & Suzanne

We are Richard, Suzanne and Emma. Richard is originally from N. Ireland and married to Suzanne from Vancouver, BC Canada. Emma is 17 and we all live in Pemberton/Whistler. We love to travel and adventure. We love to hike, bike and all outdoors fun. Richard is a real 2 wheel moto enthusiast. We plan on doing a fair amount of exchange in the following years as Emma takes off to uni. We will always try to get her to come though. Suzanne loves to run, yoga and pickle ball seems to be getting more attention. We will seek sunshine during our winter months.
