General overview

(MORE PICS COMING ASAP, just joined) Our home is 100 years old and maintains the charm of the 1920's with its original crown moldings and mantles, and as well as wavy windows and glass doorknobs. It has a lovely wood burning fireplace in the living room, as well as a spacious deck with a huge outdoor fireplace, hearth, and 2 grills. It also contains a beautiful dining room surrounded by windows for natural light, and the spacious backyard has a gate that opens directly to a hidden gem, a local public park called "hidden park" shared by 15 neighbors. Nestled on a beautiful shaded street, a five minute walk puts you on the award winning Swamp Rabbit trail right at Cancer Survivors park where you'll stroll through beautifully landscaped gardens, walk along the stunning Reedy River and soon approach two huge waterfalls in the heart of downtown Greenville. Over 100 restaurants reside here in in downtown, and also the Swamp Rabbit Trail is a new paved trail that you can walk, ride, or stroll for 20 miles past breweries, restaurants, more parks, and beautiful woodlands as you approach the Blue Ridge Mountains. Its also a short 3 hrs to the beaches of South Carolina, 3.5 hrs to Charleston, 1 hour to Asheville, 1.5 hrs to Charlotte, NC, and 2.25 hrs to ATL. Its literally in the middle of everything. Mild weather but 4 seasons. Even summers are really pleasant. Brand new profile, will add pics of bedrooms and living room once we tidy it up, recently moved in.

The space

Our house is 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath but we have made. guest room out of a spare room downstairs, it just doesn't have a closest. Its a 2 story house with stairs outside to access front and back doors. We have a decent sized backyard, a 1.5 acre park behind the back gate, and plenty of kids toys. We entertain a lot and the house is setup well for that.

Guest access

2 floors, stairs, wheelchair access

Notes

There is an awesome pizza place literally 5 min walk away, a great grocery store .5 miles away, and the most dreamy downtown .7 miles, or 15 min walk. There is a reason this is one of the fastest growing parts of the USA right now.

Neighbourhood

The neighborhood is close to downtown but has pretty low traffic considering that. The backyard is fenced so you can let your kiddos run around. Shady street and nice neighbors, and about as close as you can get to downtown without hearing the noises of the city.

Getting to my home

Its so easy! GSP airport has 21 direct flights and is a great aiport. Many folks will either fly into ATL or CLT and the drive here or have a short (20 min) connection from those two airports here. Its very easy to get here. We are also an hour south of Asheville, NC and 25 miles south of the NC border.

Nearest airport

GSP airport- 10 miles

Getting around

You can definitely get around without a car if you are comfortable doing things close to town. You can walk, bike, or uber to tons of cool stuff around here. If you want to explore the hiking, mountains, and kayaking/paddleboarding, lakes, waterfalls, you'll want to rent a car. Open to leaving our cars for you as well. Minivan and pickup.

Rob

Hello! We are a family of five! We’ve got three daughters who are currently 6, 4 and 1. We love to travel and go on outdoor adventures. We own a house in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and a business there but we now live in Greenville South Carolina on the edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We especially love traveling to Hawaii, Europe, and the Caribbean.
