**PROFILE UNDER CONSTRUCTION, MORE PHOTOS COMING SOON :) **
Our home is a 3 bedroom single story house located in a quiet modest neighborhood in the heart of the Boise metro area. Our goal for our home is to be a peaceful place to rest and relax. We have a large backyard with grass, a fire pit, a large garden with picnic area, and a chicken run with a handful of chickens.
We have several parks nearby to walk to, many family attractions, and located a short drive from all the local shopping and many restaurants that the Treasure Valley has to offer. If you are looking for a convenient urban stay, look no further!
The great thing about Boise is that you are still within a few hours to many rural activities, like hot springs, fly fishing, snowboarding, hiking, and more. We would love to recommend activities based on your interests, the time of year, and driving distance.
The space
Our home has everything you need for a relaxing vacation! The house has an open floor plan and natural light throughout. We are a smoke free, pet free, and mostly fragrance free home.
We have a California King bed and small office space in master bedroom. The master bath has a double vanity and bathtub and can be accessed from the main hallway.
*Our other bedroom(s) can be modified to fit your needs. The current arrangement is a crib in one and a toddler bed in the other. However, we can move the toddler bed into the room with the crib, and lay down a Queen memory foam mattress on the floor. The guest bath has a fully tiled walk in shower and shower wand.
Our kitchen is stocked with cooking necessities (we do a LOT of home cooked meals) and our living room features a smart TV and incredibly comfy couch with recliners.
If needed during your stay you have access to our washer & dryer in the laundry room. We have eco unscented detergent available for use.
The gem of our house is the back yard. We have an established raspberry patch that produces roughly 5 gallons over the course of the summer and a flock of happy hens that lay eggs during the warmer months. We rotate a variety of crops in our raised garden beds every year and truly enjoy growing our own food and view our home as an urban farmstead. Our covered patio is the perfect place to enjoy a meal or read a book. Our in-ground fire pit is a fun addition to a summer night. The front yard has a small herb garden as well.
If visiting with young children, we had a high chair, crib, toddler bed, pack n play, and jogging stroller available as well as many children's toys. We have two young kids and feel that our space is generally safe & child proof (no stairs, dressers secured to walls, outlet coverings, medicine and cleaning products in upper cabinets, etc.).
Guest access
The house is single story with a concrete ramp up to the front door, making it wheelchair accessible. There are no interior steps or stairs.
Notes
There is unlimited high speed internet available. During the summer months you are welcome to most of the garden produce and any eggs that our hens lay during your stay. The chickens have auto water and food and will not need any additional care if visiting during late spring through early fall.
