We live in a neighborhood with mainly families around. There are convenience stores, bakeries, a cafe, an italian restaurant, a great ice shop, pharmacies and a market with fresh vegetables (Tuesday & Friday) within 10 minutes walking distance. Within 10 minutes of walking you also get to the metro and tram station, that takes you downtown Berlin in 20-30 minutes. If you walk in the other direction you are in the woods within 3 minutes, where you find many playgrounds, a swimming lake, a climbing park and a horse track.
