Our home is modern (6 years old) and spacious, covering 320 square metres over 2 levels. It backs onto a golf course with lovely views of the course and lake. It is open plan, very light and airy. The rear of the house faces North so enjoys year round sun.
The space
The living area is open plan and spacious with large glass sliding doors which allow lots of light and views of the golf course. Sliding doors open onto a timber deck, ideal for entertaining or just relaxing - there are excellent views of the adjoining swimming pool and the golf course.
The kitchen has a walk-in pantry with shelves, drawers and a stone bench top .There is a 90cm oven, gas cooktop, microwave and dishwasher drawers and a large island bench with stone top. The kitchen is well equipped, including a coffee machine, slow cooker, airfryer, rice cooker, mixer and more.
There are 4 bedrooms, the master has a king bed, walk-in robe and ensuite. Two of the bedrooms have queen beds and the 4th bedroom has a single bed and desk.
The house has ceiling fans throughout and ducted air conditioning and heating. There is also a portable gas heater downstairs.
Upstairs has a living area with gas fireplace and TV above and a powder room. The large glass sliding doors open onto a balcony overlooking the pool and the golf course. There is a bookshelf full of books to wile away the winter months in front of the fire.
The swimming pool is 9 metres long and has a heat pump for the cooler days. The downstairs deck has a BBQ and there is a small Weber on the balcony upstairs.
The garden is low maintenance with shrubs providing privacy to the swimming pool.
Guest access
The house is accessed directly from the driveway or garage. The house is 2 storey and has 16 stairs to reach the upstairs living area.
Notes
We have 2 bikes and several fishing rods. There is also a set of golf clubs with buggy, a Bocce set and quite a few jigsaws, plus a keyboard and treadmill.
Our street backs onto the golf course on one side and the large Manning River on the other side. There is a very picturesque path which follows the river and is approximately 5kms return walk from our house.
If you enjoy golf you will love the golf course which is rated as one of the 25 greatest 9 hole courses in Australia. Although a 9 hole course it has 18 tees.
We have 2 resident cats who will remain in the home. We are happy to look after your pets if you have any.
