Our home is our little heart, it's so old. Even the municipality isn't sure when it was built as it was built the same time as the castle (it's part of the old town walls which were erected in its defence)! It's said Napoleon sojourned there but alas, most people who live there say the same thing so I'd be happy to say it's possibly true :) There's lots of old stone, wooden floors, fireplaces and soft linens! and a gorgeous rose bush growing on its wall. Oh and a little bench right by in the entrance! there are so many things I love about it!
The Space
There's 3 bedrooms, a full bathroom, guest toilet and kitchen on the ground floor. On the first floor is another full bathroom, living room and library which also works as an extra bedroom. The kitchen opens up on the cobbled lane in front of our home and is very picturesque!
In the basement is the laundry room and garage.
Guest Access
2 floors, sometimes asymmetrical old stairs.
The car needs to be parked about 150m from the home entrance.

Neighbourhood
It's a very quiet little village with few people living in all year round. It becomes a bit more populated in the summer months, There's great hikes in the area and you're a 10 minute drive from a cute Italian town with a lovely big piazza, great weekly market and lots of cafes and amenities.
You're 45 minutes from the beach and 50 minutes from ski slopes.
Getting to my home
Closest airports are Genoa or Turin but Milan is fine too. Car rentals are quite cheap but happy to discuss vehicle swaps for getting around, it's quite essential to have a car!
Nearest airport
Genoa - 1hr 10 minutes
Turin - 1hr 15 minutes
Milan - between 2.5-3.5 hrs based on which airport.
Getting Around
Definitely need a car! I mean you could hypothetically bike to the closest town but it would be very limiting to seeing much more.
There's a train station in the closest town (Ceva) which easily connects you also to further places for day trips if you wanted a break from driving!
