General overview

A little bit about our place - it’s in Sandy Bay which is 20mins out of Christchurch, New Zealand. Our 2bdrm 1 bathroom house is a cosy 80m2 home on 1acre land made up of bush, garden and a creek and it has direct access to the beach through a private walking track (approx 50metre walk). We have a hot tub, bikes and a double kayak to use. We are a short drive from the adventure mountain biking park, cafes/shops in lyttelton township and endless walking tracks all around the port hills. We are close to the mountains for skiing/snowboarding - 1.5-2hrs away dependent on the ski fields.

The space

2 bedroom house - both bedrooms same size. One with super king bed and the other with a double bed and cot.

Hi ☺️ My name is Missy (short for Melissa) and I live with my hubbie Aaron and 2 kids - 5yrs old boy and 2yr old girl in our own wee slice of paradise tucked away in Sandy Bay, New Zealand. We are both kiwis (New Zealanders), but we lived in Australia for 10yrs before having kids and spent a lot of that time on many amazing adventures travelling around the world. Since moving back to NZ we have mostly just travelled close to home but are starting to get the itch again to go somewhere further away and we’re excited to do it with our kids. We have completed 2 simultaneous house swaps in NZ through a house swap NZ group and both swaps went so smoothly that it’s given me the courage to look a bit further from home. I’m excited to start looking at possibilities 🌎
