General overview
Our 1895 Victorian was completely renovated from top to bottom with a gorgeous kitchen and bath, three bedrooms, and lovely living spaces - and a private backyard! We're walking distance to the beach, shops, and all the action in Cape May. Cape May is the nation's oldest seaside resort with vineyards galore, fine dining, nightlife, kayaking, nighttime moves on the beach, whale watching, mini golf, bike riding, water sports, historic villages, antiquing, festivals (we love the Lima Bean festival!), live music...oh, and the beach! It is a very walkable town and feels like you've been transported back in time, as there is a strong historic commission that preserves old homes and buildings in the town.

We generally plan our travel a few months in advance so are now looking for:
- long weekend ski trips in winter 2025 near IKON resorts
- first week of August 2024, open to week long trips in Amsterdam/the Netherlands, Copenhagen/Denmark, Stockholm/Sweden, London, Mexico City, Quebec City...anything!
- Thanksgiving 2024, would love Hawaii or St. John, Palm Springs, Sedona, but open to ideas.
- late December 2024 near Kitzbühel, Zermatt, or the Dolomites
We are always interested in Tokyo, Seoul, Hawaii.
Alternatively, I can possibly offer our primary residence right outside of Philadelphia. We are walking distance to the train which goes right into Center City Philadelphia, but is also an Amtrak stop so it's an extremely easy trip to NYC, Baltimore, Boston, Washington DC. We are close to Longwood Gardens, all of the beautiful vineyards in Chadds Ford, along with all the cool stuff that the area has to offer kids (the Please Touch Museum is amazing, as is the Franklin Institute). Our home is a 1922 Dutch Colonial with 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a playset in the backyard, and is completely renovated top to bottom.
The space
We completed renovated the home from top to bottom when we became its new owners; it is a beautiful space that was designed with families in mind. There is a large private backyard with grill, outdoor shower, and dining area. The front yard has a huge tree, and the block itself is tree lined.
Guest access
Guests enter on the side of the home, through a closed in porch. There are two levels; the first floor has a mudroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, half bath, and access to the private backyard. Upstairs has three bedrooms (one king, one queen, two sets of twin bunks) and a full bath. There is a keypad with private access for you to come and go as you wish. You'd also have access to our front porch to sit and enjoy morning coffee or a pre-dinner drink.
Notes
There is so much more to Cape May than just the beach; we're not huge beach people but we love cycling, fine dining, kayaking, and live music. We have a kayak that you are welcome to borrow.

Neighbourhood
We might be biased but we think West Cape May is the Best Cape May! We're walking distance to the shops and restaurants but on a tree lined residential street that is very quiet. There is a great coffee shop and French bakery (and yoga studio) at the end of one side of the street, and several restaurants at the other end. We're walking distance to the beach as well.
Getting to my home
Cape May is closest to the Atlantic City airport but very accessible from NYC, Philadelphia, and Washington DC. There are busses that access Cape May as well.
Nearest airport
Atlantic City Airport is 45 minutes away.
Getting around
Most people bike or walk around Cape May, but a car can be helpful if you'd like to visit neighboring shore towns like Avalon or Stone Harbor.

Hi! We're a family of four - mom + dad, and two kiddos (7 and 9). We love to ski, hike, spend time outdoors, and have traveled quite a lot as a family. We are Superhosts on AirBnB and have swapped in the past but are very excited to swap with other families in the future!
We generally plan our travel a few months in advance so are now looking for:

- Thanksgiving 2024, would love Hawaii or St. John, Palm Springs, Sedona, but open to ideas.
