General Overview

Currently searching for a 3-month+ exchange with Japan. --- Nicely furnitured and decorated in the old, Bavarian town Straubing on the Danube river. Has everything you would need except a washing machine (Hopefully soon, though). Three rooms, one bed room, two living rooms, kitchen, bathroom with bathtub and separate toilet. Elevator in case you need it to get to the first floor but it's not 100% handicapped accessible (2 steps at the front door). Parking is no problem and grocery shopping is not far.

The Space

Has everything you would need except a washing machine (Hopefully soon, though). Three rooms, one bed room, two living rooms, kitchen, bathroom with bathtub and separate toilet.

Guest Access

Elevator in case you need it to get to the first floor but it's not 100% handicapped accessible (1 or 2 steps at the front door). Parking is no problem and grocery shopping is not far.

Notes

Currently no washing mashine. But there's a loundry shop (~12 mins by bike, 40 mins by foot).

Neighbourhood

Silence. Nothing special, quiet residental area. If you enjoy the city life, better look for Munich (or at least Nuremburg or Augsburg/Regensburg/Ingolstadt).

Getting to my home

By train in ~2 hours from the Airport Munich (MUC) for 30€ (check bahn.de: MUC → Straubing). About 1 hour by car. I could theoretically also pick you up if necessary.

Nearest airport

MUC: Munich Airport. 1:10h drive by car (105km). By train ~2:00h (check bahn.de: MUC → Straubing).

Getting Around

I can not offer you a car right now but public transport in Germany is good. If you stay for some months, we could arrange bikes. I am located in Regensburg ~50km / 40 mins from Straubing.
