The Space

With 4 bedrooms and sleeping up to 7 people, our home has a number of features you will enjoy including, a king-sized bed in the master suite, a kids bedroom with single bed (with single trundle underneath), and a second kids room with a single bed upstairs. Downstairs in a private bedroom with a queen bed and bathroom. We have an open plan living area opening up to the deck overlooking Mt Warning and the pool area, outdoor entertaining area with Weber BBQ and a front yard with a cubby house. There is a full sized kitchen with plenty of bench space, dishwasher and fridge. A washing machine, television, streaming internet TV and bluetooth stereo. Air-conditioning/heating feature in the living area and all upstairs bedrooms and ceiling fans in every room. The master bedroom has an ensuite with a shower, and toilet and the second upstairs bathroom has a full shower, separate bathtub and toilet. The downstairs bathroom has a toilet and shower. The home boasts a beautiful saltwater pool with outdoor seating to enjoy the serenity and laze around the pool. There is also an outdoor shower, perfect for washing down the family after a swim at the beach. You look out across the road to a nature reserve and a children’s park is in close walking distance.

Guest Access

There is a flight of stairs that takes you from the garage to the home. Once inside, the home is on two levels, with the main living and 3 bedrooms on the top level and the lounge room and other bedroom and bathroom on the lower level.

Neighbourhood

Located in peaceful Koala Beach, our home is in a safe, friendly and quiet neighbourhood. We live in Koala Beach estate which is a wildlife sanctuary and no dogs or cats allowed. There is abundant birdlife and wildlife in the estate, we even had a koala in the tree in our front yard recently. Our neighbours are all lovely people with kids. Across the road is a reserve so you look out to trees, not houses which is beautiful.

Getting to my home

Our house is close to the Gold Coat Airport (25 minutes drive). You can take a taxi or Uber from there. From Brisbane Airport, it is about 1 hour and 40 mins driving time (depending on traffic). Having a car while here is recommended as there are not many public transport options being a small coastal town. We may be open to car exchange too!

Gold Coast (Coolangatta) airport is 25 mins drive.

Getting Around

It's about a 5 minute drive into town for shops, cafes and groceries or you can ride bikes which will take about 15 minutes. There is limited public transport in this area, except for buses. Uber is available.
