General Overview

We live in a standard 4 bedroom 3 bathroom main home with a gated pool. We also have a granny flat at the rear of the main house with ensuite and open kitchen area. This is available separately too (for a globe). Open to globes in 2026/2027 or potential reciprocals. Most places are within a mere 1-10minutes drive away from our home. Beach is 800m down the road, and 1min walk to a bus stop, 3mins to a convenience store. Access to a car is possible, please speak to us about this.

The Space

We have 3 queen beds, 1 king bed, 1 single size framed bed (toddler rail if needed), 1 x standard cot, 1 x Compact bugaboo stardust portacot suiting babies up to 18m, 1 portacot and 1 x fold out lounge (approx queen size). We may have a car seat for toddlers etc. We normally have 1 friendly dog living at the property but would be able to put them up at a dog sitter during your stay. We have a baby and 4 year old so have some toys in a dedicated play area if you have children. Access to a car is possible, please speak to us about this. Pets upon request only.

Guest Access

We are on ground level, with access for a car or caravan to park if required. Granny flat has a few steps to enter.

Notes

We have chickens and 1 dog. Dog can be put up at a friends during your stay if needed.

Getting to my home

Broome is most easily reached by air by an Australian capital city. The closest cities by road are Perth WA, and Darwin NT, however, are both more than 1800km away. Once you arrive in Broome, a taxi is cost effective, being only around 5-7 minutes from our home. Broome can be explored with a bike, however a motorised scooter may be more favourable depending on how many people are visiting. Broome is spread out a little, and getting to some places may take time.

Broome International Airport, 5 minutes from home.

Getting Around

We may have a car you can use during your stay. By car: 2 minutes to the Broome hospital. 5 minutes to the Airport. 5 minutes to Woolworths Supermarket (within a shopping complex). 6 minutes to Coles Supermarket that is at China Town (multi shopping street area). 10 minutes to Cable Beach. Walking: 1 minute walk to a bus stop. 3 minutes to a convenience store. 5-8min walk to Broome Town Beach where there is eating, pharmacy, bottleshop, playground, water park, beach etc.
