General overview

Our renovated 1950s built character home features 12 feet rose ceilings and ornate cornices, surrounded by a mixture of modern new build and character homes. We are located 5km from the Perth CBD with access to public transport 2mins walk down the street. We love it here as we are close to everything! Within 5-25mins away, you'll be able to walk along the cafes and restaurant strips, catch the bus or drive to the various beaches, wander through the beautiful Kings Park, Elizabeth Quay by riverfront, universities, yacht clubs, parks and oval , etc.

The space

The house has separate entertaining areas where the adults and children/teens can have their own "space" - either by the pool, indoor/outdoor alfresco or the activity room. GROUND FLOOR: Master Bedroom - queen size bed with several chest of drawers with private ensuite and spa bath. All-purpose Room - where the children do their homework, practice their musical instruments and our daughter's crazy craft and knick-knacks are stored. Open plan area with dining room that looks towards the kitchen and family room. Kitchen- fully equipped kitchen. Family Room - large, comfortable leather couches, coffee table and a smart TV with Fetch TV, Netflix and Disney plus. Laundry - washing machine and dryer. A separate toilet is in this area. Indoor/outdoor Alfresco - a commercial grade BBQ with wok burner and rangehood, dining table, TV, sitting area, shaggy rug and a wood fire. SECOND STOREY: You'll need to tackle 21 steps leading up to the 2nd storey, where you will find two large bedrooms, study nook, activity area (with a double sofa bed), separate shower and separate toilet. Bed 2: Queen size bed with vanity mirrors, chest of drawers and large built-in wardrobe. Bed 3: Double bed with large built-in wardrobe. **this room would suit any star wars and Lego fan! 😂🙈 The pool area has two access with self closing gates as per Australian safety regulations. Mostly automated but you'll have to turn on the pool pump filter when prior to using it.. Cars and bike usage can be discussed accordingly..

Guest access

Unfortunately, our house is not really suitable for wheelchair access due to the number steps around and inside the house - 21 steps to get to the second storey. The front entry has a large step to the front front porch and the pool has 6 steps from the house/decking down to the pool.

Notes

We do have non-shedding black cavoodle, called Miko. She will be staying with a pet-sitter during the swap period, unless you are happy to look after her. We ask that our guests be mindful of consuming nuts in our house as our son is anaphylaxis. We would prefer families with children over 8yr olds who are VERY good swimmers as we have a pool and can handle the 21 steps up to the second storey.
