Located above an art studio, the home is filled with art and creative touches. In a great position in Bridge Rd, it is surrounded by cafes, bars, restaurants and art galleries and easy public transport.
The space
Have you ever wanted to live above a shop? Here is your chance. The home is at the rear and above an Art Studio, in a premium inner Melbourne area full of cafe's, restaurants and home-ware shops. The property is on the tram-line with easy access to Melbourne city.
The home is managed by the artist, so not surprisingly filled with art work. You could even do a fluid art class in the studio below.
The standard configuration is Bedroom 1 - King Bed and Bedroom 2 - King bed or split into two Singles, whatever best meets your requirements.
The charming living room has a 55" smart television with Netflix available, free through the complimentary Wifi. Bedroom and bathroom linen is provided, along with shampoo, conditioner and soap.
The large kitchen has a dining table for four and appliances including fridge, convection microwave, induction hob / hot plate, rice/slow cooker, electric fry pan and dishwasher. (Note there is not a 'normal' stove and oven, but the functions are covered in items described).
The apartment has a reverse cycle air-conditioner in bedroom 1, that is positioned to also benefit the hallway and other areas. There are electric heaters in the other bedroom and the sitting room, and a wall electric heater downstairs in the kitchen.
A small backyard provides a place to catch the sun and to enjoy the surrounding abundant pot-plants.
The property is professionally cleaned between each guest and all key surfaces are disinfected as standard practice. Note: as I run this property as an Airbnb, there is an AU$100 cleaning fee for each booking.
Guest access
Access is from a small walk lane-way and via the backyard. A car park is available (one of two parks shared with the art studio).
The kitchen is downstairs, all other rooms are up a flight of stairs.
Notes
The property is professionally cleaned between each guest and all key surfaces are disinfected as standard practice.
