General overview
Our home truly offers best of both worlds - it's in the nature, in a gated community with just 10 houses in total. Super quiet and calm but at the same time the capital city, Tallinn is just a 10-minute drive away where you have all the activities, stores, restaurants etc you could ever need. There are 2 local food stores and pizza places within 2km as well.
As Estonia is small, you can visit the whole country (highly recommend visiting our different islands!) during your stay as it doesn't take longer than 3-3,5h to drive anywhere.
As we are super flexible with our hosting/exchange dates we havenât added a calendar with specific dates so please write us a message with your travel plans involving Estonia and Iâm sure we can work something out! đ
The space
We have a 2 story house where downstairs you'll find a big and bright living room, a kitchen that opens to the terrace, bathroom with shower and a sauna, pantry/laundry room and the office (that can also be used as a bedroom). Upstairs you'll find a bathroom with a tub and 3 bedrooms. We have a smart TV and Netflix and our kids are happy to share their toys, bikes and scooters.
In our yard you'll find apple trees, different berries, a tiny house for barbeque, a hot tub, a green house and plenty of activities for kids - swings, a slide, sandbox and a secure yard where to run around.
The back of the house is facing the forest so it's private and relaxing enjoying your time on the terrace.
Our home is ideal for a family with kids but of course we welcome any type of travellers.

Neighbourhood
Tallinn is the closest city to our house where you'll find the most to do - visit our gorgeous medieval old town (25-minutes drive), go shopping, enjoy world class restaurants and more. When in Tallinn, visiting the old town is a must as it truly is one of the most beautiful old towns you'll find anywhere in Europe, right besides it is also vibrant area called Telliskivi where you'll find lots to do and even more to eat - there's a huge indoor and outdoor market called Balti Jaama Turg, you'll also find a lot of different street food places and events. For events go to Telliskivi Loomelinnak which is right next to Balti Jaama Turg, there's museums, concert places, stand-up comedy nights and much more.
For shopping and getting everything you need from one place is the best Ălemiste Keskus that's located almost next to the airport meaning it's also super close to our place, you'll get there 10-12 minutes.
We truly hope you get to travel around more than just visit Tallinn as Estonia has a lot of other cities and places thatâll amaze you.
Some of my favourites are: SAAREMAA - the biggest island in Estonia where you'll find the nicest beaches and even more nice people; BOGS and other wetlands in Estonia - there's a lot of them in Estonia and they're beautiful during all seasons, as Estonia is also in TOP 5 of the cleanest air in the world, then heading to the nature is Always a good idea ; HAAPSALU - cutest little town with a great spa hotel, best bakeries and just all in all a cute and calm town just 1h and 15 minute drive away from our house; VILJANDI - town where you'll find the best views from the area of ruins of the Viljandi Order Castle, that's also where the biggest folklore festival in Estonia is held which always attracts a lot of foreigners who often tend to fall in love with the town and are back sooner than they expected.
Getting to my home
As Tallinn Airport is 10-minute drive away, it's super convenient to get to our house and back to the airport (or to the city in general). Just pick up your rental car from the airport or grab a taxi right in front of the arrivals and you'll be at your home away from home in no time.
Nearest airport
Tallinn Airport is 10 km away from our home so you'll be relaxing at home after your flight in no time.
Getting around
You'll need a car getting around as the house is right outside the city (the capital of Estonia, Tallinn). You have a chance to use the Bolt app for taxies but having a rental car would of course give more freedom. We could consider leaving you our own car if necessary.

All went well . They are a lovely family and we are looking forward to visiting Estonia in June
Yasminâs home in Sotogrande is in superb location! We loved the gorgeous residential area and itâs calm. You live right by the water which is so relaxing by itself and thereâs only a few kilometres to the beach where you can find a nice playground as well.
Itâs a different area weâve visited before in Spain as there are no traditional Spanish style house around, itâs also super safe (thereâs guards in several places). We stayed in the apartment with our small children so it was very useful that the house itself has an elevator.
You have to own or rent a car as many have already mentioned - the area is secluded from the town part of Sotogrande. We were absolutely not bothered by it and fully enjoyed the peaceful area where the apartment is located in.
Communication with Yasmin was easy and we got perfect directions for finding the apartment and letting ourselves in. Our first PLU experience couldâve not been any better and for that we are forever grateful!

We're a family of 4 looking for a home away from home once a year during a longer trip (4 weeks or so) and 2-3 times a year for shorter periods. We love making memories and travelling as a family and although our kids are 2 and 3,5 years old, we strongly believe it's something that our boys will take with them for a lifetime.
We have a beautiful home in Estonia, 10-min drive from the capital city, Tallinn that we're more than happy to hand out to wanderers like us.
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. The island Saaremaa and its capital city Kuressaare. Cutest little town youâll live in a heartbeat. Itâs by the sea and has some of the best restaurants and spa hotels in Estonia. The islands nature is also truly a gem!
Edge of the world for the people from Saaremaa - the furthest point of the island where you can walk on sand and pebble stones and of course swim âcause youâre surrounded by the sea. A must visit when youâre on the island!
Bogs and wetlands are another must visit when visiting Estonia. Youâll find them all over Estonia and itâs a truly beautiful experience hiking on any of the trails on any season.
Also swimming in a bog is a must do Estonian experience - the water leaves your skin feeling amazingly soft and nourished after the swim.
