Caloundra is at the south of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, about 75mins drive from Brisbane. It has many beautiful beaches, a sea water pool, wonderful cafes and a bustling small town centre.
This apartment is located at the main beach area called Kings Beach and is a recently renovated 2-bedroom apartment. It is an easy walk to the beach or to the township. A relaxing holiday spot with lots of access to great food, coffee, beach activities and views.
A quick drive to the well-known Australia Zoo made famous by Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter.
Also easy access to the scenic hinterland area with the picturesque Glasshouse Mountains and the lovely towns of Montville and Maleny.
The space
The main bedroom has a queen bed and there are two single beds in the second bedroom. The open plan living, dining and kitchen are share a reverse-cycle air conditioner.
Guest access
This apartment is on the lower floor at the back of the building. There is one flight of stairs up from ground level, and two flights of stairs is you are coming from the undercover garage. There is no elevator in this building.

The apartment complex has a small in ground pool at the front for the use of all guests.

Neighbourhood
There is a short walk to the beach, and about 500m walk to the Main Street of the town area. Some of the people in the apartment block are permanent residents, while other apartments are holiday homes.
Getting to my home
Australia has vast distances and public transport is not always available. A car is always useful. Caloundra is 75 minutes drive approximately from Brisbane, the capital city of Queensland.
Nearest airport
The nearest airport is Maroochydore. The nearest international airport is Brisbane.
Getting around
It is easy to walk to grocery shops, coffee shops, restaurants and the local movie theatre. We tend to leave our car at home. There is a local bus service around Caloundra that also takes you to other parts of the Sunshine Coast.
