The complex is built along the Eagle River. There is a very nice walking path along side it. You can ride your bike from the unit all the way into Vail along bike paths. I love to ride in for lunch. There is a liquor store across the street. There is a free bus service that runs all around the town of Avon. There is a bus schedule available in the unit. You can use the bus to get around the neighborhood, including City Market and Walmart, as well as restaurants.

Nearest airport

EGE - Eagle Airport is 30 minutes away. There is a bus that runs into Avon every hour. DIA - Denver airport is 2 hours away. You can either rent a car from there or use Epic Mountain Express shuttle. They will drop you off right at the door.

Getting around

There is free parking on the property. If you do drive, you MUST provide me with your license and additional car info so the car can be registered in the lot. If not, it will be towed. If you want to stay without a car, across the street are bus stops for Beaver Creek (base of the lifts) and Vail. The Beaver Creek bus is free. The bus to Vail is the Eco Transit bus system, which sells passes at very reasonable prices. There is one e-bike on the property. I'm 5' tall, so it won't fit a lot of people, but you are welcome to use it (seat is adjustable). Less than a mile away is Venture Sports. They offer a large variety of bikes for rent, including e-bikes. I do a lot of biking in the area. There are plenty of paths.
