General overview

Peace of mind with a new home knowing that everything works! It's in a beautiful community and is within walking or biking distance to almost everything! With lots of extras for your travels including a home gym, bikes, a trampoline, we have something for everyone!

The space

We own a brand new property in one of the loveliest parts of the Okanagan. The popular beachside areas of Kal Lake & Lake Okanagan are only a 10 minute drive from our place and the beaches are spectacular plus there are many lovely restaurants and plenty of places to shop - this region is a tourist hot spot for both locals and international visitors in the summer months. Walk into an open concept living room/kitchen with the most comfy family sofa! A large TV means you can watch sports or your favourite movie with everyone! The backyard is half turf and half rocks with a trampoline and kids toys. At the front there is a 400 square foot deck overlooking the golf course with a propane firepit and comfy patio furniture. Upstairs is 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The "kids bathroom" has a tub and everything needed to get those rascals clean at the end of a day of skiing or the beach. All beds have a mattress protector on them! The garage has a home gym and access to some of our things to make your stay special!

There are a decent amount of stairs in this home so it unfortunately is not wheelchair accessible.

Notes

We are central to almost everything in town. Close to the ski hill, the beach, numerous golf courses and within an hour to hundreds of wineries! About us - We are young at heart adults with young children who we want to show the world! We are dabbling with home schooling to make time to be able to do more worldly-tours! We love to explore new destinations and experience new cultures. We are extremely house proud and can assure you that your home will be treated with care and respect. We are non smokers and would not want guests to smoke inside our home. We do own a cat and 2 dogs. There can be discussion of you watching them or we can make arrangements to have them elsewhere during your stay. We are also happy to watch your fur, fin and feathered animals! We look forward to hearing from you… When you depart we ask that you strip the beds and place used sheets and towels in laundry hamper plus tidy and vacuum the house. Alternatively we can arrange a cleaner to come on the day you depart at a cost of $90 CAD for 2 hours. We have unlimited and very good wifi as well as Disney, Netflix, etc. This is our primary residence but we can do non simultaneous swaps if required.

Neighbourhood

Our neighborhood is a quiet community with one way in and one way out. Within a 2 minute walk is a large sports field, tennis/pickleball court and a kids playground.

Getting to my home

We are approximately 30 minutes from the nearest major airport. To get into town a car or bike is a great idea.

Car or bike. Walking will get you around the community but for gas/groceries and other amenities use our e-bikes or the car!

Hi there! Myself, my wife, our 4 year old daughter and a baby on the way (May 2024) are the "girl gang"! We are avid mountain bikers, love the outdoors, and love animals! We have a brand new beautiful home in Vernon, BC as well we have an awesome 27 foot RV only 40 minutes from our primary home for you to use, or for us to go to while you use our primary home! Camping - but glamping! We love the area so much and want to share it with others! We are getting into worldschooling and are always open to exchanging for long periods of time preferably in our winter (Nov-March) to somewhere warm to allow others to enjoy skiing!
