Welcome to Forest Gate! We are a family of 5 with 3 young kids. The house has lots of space, with 2 double bedrooms and 2 kids rooms, with the option of another large double bedroom if needed, as well as a large garden, and overlooks Wanstead Flats, a lovely large green space great for walks, feeding ducks, football etc. You are welcome to borrow our bikes and bike seats, we have Netflix, Disney etc on the TV and there are plenty of toys and books if you have young kids :)

Forest Gate is a vibrant, multicultural, friendly neighbourhood with international shops, a small Saturday market and independent restaurants and cafes. Our house is less than a five minute walk to all the amenities including Forest Gate station which is on the brand new Elizebeth Line direct to Liverpool St (12 mins), Tottenham Court Road (19 mins), Paddington (24 mins), and another Overground station(to Gospel Oak - Hampstead Heath - lovely!).  Nearby is the Olympic Park with loads of great cafes, playgrounds, Westfield shopping centre, the canal, and all the Olympic buildings. Wanstead Flats is directly opposite our house and is a  beautiful and peaceful place for a walk in the mist in the mornings, or at sunset.

We hope you have a wonderful time in our house. It's not flashy but it's a spacious and happy family home and great base for exploring London.
