Neighbourhood
Balmain is an eclectic, heritage suburb very close to the CBD of Sydney.
It is known for its pubs, cafes and restaurants &... the friendliness of its residents! It has water access to the city via ferry. a great bus service and a very quick travel time to the airport - approximately 15 mins by car via the tunnel.
It's also a great location if you're coming to Sydney to view the NYE fireworks!

Sydney Kingsford Smith airport is approx 15 minutes by car from our home. It is also fully accessible by public transport (train & bus).
Getting Around
The main Street of Balmain is a 5-10 minute walk from our home. It has cafes, a Woolworths supermarket, restaurants and shops.
We have weekend markets within walking distance &
there are a number of pubs around us - the closest being a 5 minute walk.
