General overview
Quiet semi detached cottage in a private lane on the Essex/Suffolk border with stunning views.
Located near Manningtree in the Stour Valley, abutting an area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB), our cottage .
The space
Country cottage on private lane with own garden and parking; in north Essex with good rail links to London.
The cottage is located down a small lane surrounded by fields with grazing sheep. The kitchen diner has bifold doors opening up onto the large patio of a quintessentially English garden with outstanding views. Also, on the ground floor there is a lounge, dining room, study, utility room and WC. Upstairs there are three double bedrooms and one twin, with one family bathroom and toilet.
It is a wonderful base to explore the English countryside by foot (a number of long distant walks go through this area), bike (there are 3 bikes available), car or rail. The East Anglian coastline is noted as an important area for migratory birds.
There are a number of photographs showing the views from the windows of the different rooms, the gardens and local points of interest.
Guest access
From the lane there are steps leading to the front door and patio, further steps lead to the garden. The bedrooms are located on the first floor.
