We love our century colonial. We’ve added our own decorative touches in many places while keeping the charm of the original house. Summers here are spent outside on one of our 3 patios. Winter is spent near the wood burning stove. The close proximity to the lake and the park make our home extra special.

We have 3 bedrooms for PLU use. A large primary bedroom with views of Lake Erie from the bay window. There is a 2nd floor patio entrance from this bedroom. It’s a lovely place to drink coffee or watch the evening stars. The bathroom has a gorgeous octopus tile mosaic we constructed and installed in 2021. The other two bedrooms are filled with toys and whimsy for the younger guests. Legos and dolls abound. The first floor consists of a large formal dining room (we usually have a puzzle going on the dining room table). Our living room has a baby grand piano, multiple guitars, and toys for everyone’s enjoyment. Off the living room is an office/work space with desk. There is a half bath on the first floor. The kitchen is large with plenty of counter space and a kitchen table for casual eating. It opens into the back room with a wall of windows and a wood burning stove. Our finished basement has a few free weights for use, 2 televisions, and a full bathroom. Laundry is also in the basement.

There are 3 floors to the house (basement, 1st floor, 2nd floor). It’s not wheelchair accessible.

We live in a gorgeous, old neighborhood. We are 5 houses east of Edgewater Park. We are 900 steps from Perkins Beach (my husband counted the steps). You can hunt for sea glass or walk along the shoreline of Lake Erie.

Cleveland Hopkins is 15 minutes away by car.
