General overview
New to house exchange, we are a couple with 2 children aged 8 and 10.
We like to explore our regions as well as the world.
Our next big trip is planned for the whole month of July for a trip from Vancouver to Calgary to visit the Rockies in an RV.
The central Val de Loire region is known for its famous castles (the castles of the Loire! Amboise, Chambord, Cheverny, Chenonceaux, Villandry and so on), its vineyards, and visitors also really enjoy the Loire by bike ( now dubbed Cher on a bike!).
The space
I welcome you to my large house in the city center, close to the city center. . The house is on 3 levels with garden
On the ground floor, the living room and dining room with a kitchen which opens onto the garden terrace.
On the 1st, a spacious bedroom with a 160 cm bed, an office with a 140 cm sofa bed, a bathroom with bathtub.
On the 2nd floor, 2 bedrooms with a single bed and a bathroom with shower.
Guest access
Between 3 and 10 minutes on foot you discover:
movie theater
the opera
Beaux-arts museum
restaurants and bars
the station: Paris is 1 hour away by train.
3 bus lines a few steps from the house
The house is located in one of the 2 historic centers of the city.
Tours is in the heart of the Loire castles and vineyards.
The nearby highway entrance allows you to exit/enter the city very quickly. There are free parking spaces in the area.
Notes
We are very respectful and we attach great importance to leaving the houses we occupy in the same state of cleanliness. We expect the same in return.
About Us:
I lived abroad for a few years (Beijing, Hong Kong) as part of my professional career. We lived in Paris for around ten years. Today we have settled in Tours in order to have a more pleasant living environment for our two children.

Neighbourhood
Residential in a quiet area and in the city center.
Everything is accessible on foot, the cathedral, the opera, the Chateau de Tours in 5 minutes and the train station is 10 minutes away as well as the hyper center.
Parking is free in the area.
Magnificent bike rides along the nearby Loire
Adult and children's bicycles can be made available.
