General overview
A beautiful renovated sea-facing home on the cliff top of Herne Bay. Enjoy uninterrupted views of the sea and relax with a drink in the evening on the balcony watching the spectacular sunsets. There is direct access to the pebble beach opposite and stunning cliff top walks to Reculver and a short seafront stroll into Herne Bay town and amenities. Canterbury and Whitstable are within easy reach and there is a train station with a direct train to London (taking approx 1.5hrs). A perfect location for families and couples to enjoy time together. The property has off road parking.
The space
The house is set out over two floors.
We have a front porch that has lots of room for coats and shoes. This leads into the main house. The entrance hallway is very spacious with decorative fireplace.
Coming off of the hallway there is;
Front lounge which is cosy and warm in the winter but cool in the summer. It has two comfortable sofas an electric fireplace, a smart TV, Alexa with amazon music and beautiful sea views.
There is a large wet room and toilet comprising of large walk in shower, sink and WC.
Large open plan kitchen, dining and snug area.
The kitchen has a large island with breakfast bar and 3 stools. American style fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, double oven, 7 ring gas hob, coffee machine.
Dining area has a large wooden table with 8 permanent seats. The dining area has large bifold doors leading out to the back garden which is paved with york stone and has a selection of garden furniture including a BBQ and some outdoor lighting.
The snug area has Large comfortable corner sofa with smart TV perfect for all to relax.
The utility room is off of the kitchen with washing machine, tumble dryer, a sink and outside access via the side door.
Upstairs
Off of the upstairs landing is:
The Master Bedroom which has a comfortable super king brass bed, this faces out towards the full length double doors opening into a Juliette balcony with uninterrupted views of the sea. A perfect place to sit up in bed in a morning with a cup of tea looking out to sea and contemplating the plan for the day ahead. There is a chaise long, chest of drawers and built in wardrobe for your clothes.
The Ensuite Guest bedroom and roof terrace has a comfortable king size bed, and has wardrobe and drawer storage for your use. There is an ensuite shower and toilet. Double doors lead out onto a south facing roof terrace that has comfortable outdoor seating. The perfect sun trap to enjoy your breakfast and relax.
The front sea facing double bedroom with balcony offers either an upstairs sitting room with a corner sofa to sit and relax on or a very comfortable king size sofa bed. Bifold doors lead out onto a balcony (with bistro table and chairs) overlooking the sea , an amazing place to sit and watch the sun go down over the water. There are drawers to keep your clothes in and hooks on the back of the door to hang things.
There is a very spacious back bedroom with office space with either 1 or 2 single beds. A Wardrobe and drawers for clothing and a desk should you wish to work.
The upstairs Family bathroom has a free standing roll top bath, and a large walk in rain shower.

There is off road parking for 2 cars at the front of the house and there is free parking on the road outside.
Guest access
You would have access to the whole house which is spread over two floors and has a large rear garden and front and rear balconies.

The house is situated a short walk uphill from the main town of Herne Bay. It is possible to get to local shops, bars and restaurant on foot. It is a family friendly area with lots to do for all ages. It is possible to get to neighbouring larger towns by public transport.
