General overview
We love that our home is close enough to Orlando & the theme parks but far enough to provide quiet & relaxation from the busy city.
Our home is small but provides lots of space for relaxation. (Just joined PLU and slowly updating the profile. Hope to have more photos up soon but always willing to respond to messages with questions/photos as well.)
The space
The master bedroom has a King bed and an en suite bathroom with tub.
The second bedroom has a twin daybed with plenty of space for an air mattress (we have four available for use).
The third bedroom has a Queen size bed.
We also have a futon in the playroom/office area and a very large L-shaped couch that can accommodate additional guests.
Guest access
We have a keypad for easy non-contact entry upon arrival.
Notes
This is our only home. So, usage will be determined on our vacation schedule and if my husband will need the home during his work days. (His vacation time doesn’t always align with ours.)
We do have a 5yo schnauzer mix who is a love bug and may need care while we are away. Will discuss during coordination. (No other animals in the home.)
We have a trampoline & playset in the backyard for the children and access to a flat top grill & gas grill.
We have a small garden in the backyard and a couple plants out front that could use watering during your stay as well.
Our area is still up and coming. We only have pizza delivery available to us at this time. However, there is a nearby Chinese restaurant, two Publix grocery stores and Instacart/Uber/Dash do deliver to our residence as well.

Neighbourhood
We live in a rural area outside of Orlando. We’re actually smack dab in the middle of Florida.
You can find palm trees and farm animals on our street, in fact.
We are located less than five miles from two natural springs, seven miles from Historic Downtown Mount Dora, forty-five minutes from New Smyrna Beach & Daytona Beach, thirty minutes from Disney & Universal and approximately two hours from the gulf coast.
We live on a quiet residential street with neighbors on both sides and across from us.
Getting to my home
You will need a vehicle to get around; as we are not near any public transportation.
Nearest airport
The closest airport is located in Sanford, Florida - SFB (approximately 25 minutes away) and there’s also Orlando (MCO) which is 45-60 minutes away depending on traffic & route you choose.
Getting around
When renting a vehicle or driving here, you may want to purchase a transponder for the tolls. There are express lanes on I-4 and the 429/417 toll road now extends out near our home and makes traveling around Central Florida a breeze. There are public access roads and free highways as well.

Hello 👋 We are a homeschool family of four situated just outside Orlando.
Although I’m new to Homeschooling/Worldschooling, I’m not new to caring for homes, pets and children. Before becoming a mom and a small business owner, I was a Professional Nanny/House Manager for 15 years.
