Neighbourhood

This is a very quiet neighbourhood of comfortable homes on large lots. The neighbourhood is primarily full time residents but there are a few seasonal residents. The home is high-bank but the access to the ocean is very close and we often just carry or wheel the kayaks to the beach from the house. A very large park (more than 1500 acres) is at the end of the street and has many km of well marked trails.

Nearest airport

Comox Valley Airport YQQ is 15 minutes from the home.

Getting around

You will need a car or be prepared to take taxi's. The public transit in this area is very limited as it is semi-rural. The shops for groceries etc are about 15 minutes (or less) away by car. There is loads of parking room at the home.

Megs & Gord

We are retired teachers who enjoy hiking, cycling, skiing, snowshoeing, gardening and exploring. We live in the Interior of British Columbia on a small farm and have a vacation home on Vancouver Island where we spend a lot of time. We love animals and spend much of our time outdoors. We travel as a couple and very occasionally our adult children or another couple might join us but that would be communicated and most often it is just the two of us. We don't smoke or do recreational drugs and we have a very light impact on host's homes and leave them as we found them or better! See reviews of us as guests in the photos of the Comox Valley home since we are new to this platform.
