My home is a cosy studio flat on the second floor of an old-styled building built in the 60s. Located on the quiet street in the heart of Helsinki, you can reach all the busiest streets and event places in just a 10-15 minutes walk.
The space
The place has a main big room where you can find my comfortable 140cm-wide bed, which I have invested quite much in for good sleep, a foldable sofa bed which can fits 2 people, a working desk with screen as I often work from home. The kitchen is separated from the main room, which is smaller but it is well equipped with everything you need to make a good meal, as I often cook at home. Both main room and kitchen have big windows facing the quiet court yard of the building, so noise from the main street would not bother your peace.
I don’t have a TV. I use to connect my laptop to the screen to watch something while lying on my extended sofa bed. Fast 5G internet connection is available. The place also has a rice cooker, an air fryer. I will reserve you a place in my wardrobe for your clothes as requested. The heating system is excellent here, I can wear shorts and light T-shirt at home, no bulky clothes needed.

Getting around
I live in a quiet neighborhood just 5 minutes walk away from the Helsinki central bus station and shopping mall (Kamppi), and 15 minutes walk away from the central train station (Rautatieasema). The closest tram is 100m from my building, which takes you directly from and to the central train station in 10 minutes. The location is one of the most centred ones can find, just a few step away from all the busiest streets and event places in Helsinki. The city’s main Christmas market is around 15mins walk away.

I am a single woman in my early 30s, a coffee person, though, I also have small tea collection in my kitchen. I work in tech, which gets me a flexibility to work remotely, the only thing I need is a stable connection. I enjoy traveling alone from time to time, meeting and making new friends as I go. Starting from this year, I have spent most of my free time outside Finland. As I plan to travel a more in the upcoming year, I am trying to find a better and more economical way to support my new interest.
