Betsy is so kind, and the house is so incredibly comfortable and spacious – and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, but minutes away from stunningly beautiful coastal views. Betsy’s home, town and entire region are so fabulous. Betsy herself was an amazing communicator – and so generous with us.. Her home is spacious and comfortable and truly has everything you possibly could need. She had so many thoughtful touches - like beach chairs, a tea station and a phone charger. The house is just down the street from the bay where we would sit for beautiful, peaceful sunsets. Hull is so friendly and we had so many pleasant conversations in the coffee shops and the market. The South Shore has so many gorgeous places to visit. We went to so many different beaches and drove through so many beautiful coastal towns. It was also very convenient to get to Boston. We were a lot to go in for dinner and a show and a walk around Boston commons. There are endless scenic vistas out here. I would highly recommend a swap with Betsy for anyone – and in particular, any New Englanders who have not been to the South Shore. It is beautiful out here. Betsy's home is the perfect east coast beach experience. It's walkable to the beach, has cute small town vibes with fresh seafood galore, and friendly locals. Their home is stocked with everything you would need for a beach day, and inside it's comfortable and cute. The beach itself was clean, safe with kids, perfect for morning runs, and beautiful. We loved riding the ferry to Boston for a cheap and fun boat experience and fun outing in one of our favorite cities. Betsy herself is also as sweet as she can be- she was friendly, accommodating, and laid back. She even had her fridge stocked with some essential groceries when we arrived, knowing it would be good to have a head start with the kids. We are so grateful for her hospitality and would highly recommend the experience to anyone!

We had a great time, staying at Betsy and Dans place in Hull. It’s The perfect base to explore the scenic coastline around Hull and the city of Boston, which is only a short ferry ride away. Their house is very spacious and comfortable and Betsy was so helpful with suggestions and ready to help out with any queries . We cycled around the local area, visited the life-saving museum (a local gem!), drove to local towns including Cohasset and Scituate and enjoyed beautiful walks and yummy seafood in the local restaurants. We took the ferry to Boston twice during our stay and explored the freedom trail, visited the Isabelle Gardner museum and shopped! The ferry runs quite late into the evening so we could enjoy dinner in the city too. The location is very peaceful and quiet but also practical -There is a grocery store a short walk away and some great breakfast spots. We hope to return to Hull, it’s a really gorgeous seaside town and we loved the New England vibes.

Our exchange with Betsy and Dan was wonderful from start to finish! Communicating with Betsy was a dream—everything went smoothly, and we stayed in touch while they were on their own trip. She made us feel so welcome and cared for throughout. Their home is absolutely lovely—clean, comfortable, cozy, and so easy to settle into that we felt like we could have moved right in. The location is ideal: a peaceful neighborhood with everything you need nearby, plus plenty to see and do. The ferry to Boston is a fantastic bonus—just 30 minutes into the city without the hassle of traffic or parking. I can’t recommend Betsy, Dan, and their home highly enough. If you get the opportunity to exchange with them, don’t hesitate—you’ll be delighted!

Super cute cottage/ bungalow very close to bay and the ocean, loved how spacious it was and the fact that there are 2 bathrooms and plenty of room to cook. Also the outdoor shower is a dream.
