General Overview

Welcome to the Edelweiss Chalet located in beautiful Sandpoint, Idaho! Sandpoint is a vacation town in northern Idaho surrounded by amazing natural beauty and boasts tons of outdoor recreation, wonderful dining, shopping and entertainment. Enjoy the charm of our centrally located 950 square foot chalet at the base of Schweitzer Mountain Road and 4 miles from downtown Sandpoint. Whether you are planning to hit the slopes at Schweitzer, play in beautiful Lake Pend Orielle at the City Beach Park, or attend a Summer concert, you will love staying at the Edelweiss in comfort and style.

The Space

The main floor is open concept with the living room, dining and kitchen and a 3/4 bath and bedroom with a double bed. Upstairs is the master open air loft with a queen bed and full bath. On the front deck there is a conversation patio set and BBQ. In the back of the chalet is a hot tub with privacy fence, seasonal propane fire table and patio dining set. You can hear Schweitzer Creek nearby. The yard is often visited by deer and wild Turkeys.

Guest Access

The chalet is a two story house with 1 flight of stairs to the master suite. There is easy access from the driveway up 6 gentle stairs. Guests have the ability for self check in with a key box.

Notes

Guests have full run of the chalet. We live 10 minutes away so are available if you need anything. There is a $120 cleaning fee since it is a vacation rental.

Neighbourhood

There are other homes and vacation rentals surrounded by trees. Hiking and skiing near by. The chalet is on the main road to Schweitzer Mountain so there is some traffic during the day.

Getting to my home

We are 1.5 hours from Spokane International Airport. We are located at the base of Schweitzer Mountain Road.

Getting Around

A car is best to have. There is a shuttle to Schweitzer Mountain just one block away from the chalet. Downtown Sandpoint is very accessible by biking and walking with many paths.

My husband and I love to travel, experience culture and make new friends. We live in beautiful Sandoint, Idaho which is known for its world class ski resort and huge lake for all kinds of Summer fun. We love to ski, hike, explore, spend time with family and friends. We look forward to sharing our chalet with people to enjoy all that North Idaho has to offer.
