Neighbourhood

Neighbourhood: Donnybrook Hill. Nice, safe and quite green area with only a quick 10 minute drive to Ireland's second largest city - Cork. Location: Bus - 1 minute from the house is a Bus stop (Bus 207). This leaves every 30 mins. Off peak is 14-18 minutes into the city center. Car - 10-12 minute off peak drive into the city, and 5 minute drive into Douglas village, the local neighbourhood. Off street parking available. Walking - 15 minutes walk to Douglas village through a small but beautiful pedestrian wood where you can access most amenities, shopping centers and local pubs. There is also a popular farmers market on every Saturday just outside Douglas Village shopping centre.

Getting Around

Distances: - 1km to Douglas Village - 5km to Cork city. Bus stop 1 minute away - 4 min walk to nearest shop, (Maxol, Donnybrook) with a well stocked large deli - 1km to Cork Airport. Easy to fly directly to Cork and if you are renting a car from the airport, it is only a 7 min car journey to the house, complete with off street parking
