General Overview

Located in Seattle Washington, our home is two blocks from Seward Park (one of the oldest parks in Seattle) nestled along Lake Washington - You will have the entire basement apartment to yourself with a private entrance. Spacious 2 bedroom apartment with full kitchen. Apartment is fully equipped for your stay. We have a gas fireplace to keep you warm and the unit stays very cool in the heat of the summer. It is cozy and private with plenty of space. Smart TV with several streaming services and good Wi-Fi. Parking is on the street. We live in the main house with our adorable 4 year old puppy Remy, and our 2 year old tripod rescue, Sunny We do our best to maintain quiet hours from 8:00am- 10:00pm. We welcome your pets although they will not have the run of the yard.

Neighbourhood

This is amazing neighborhood - just two blocks to the lake and Seward Park. On spring and early summer evenings you will see the Great Blue Heron returning from the lake to feed their chicks nested in the rookery that is just across the street from where you will be staying. It is very common to see our resident Eagles hunting or teaching their young ones to fly. The Seward Park Neighborhood is on the Seattle City Bus Line and about a 30 minute walk to the light rail. In addition to the park and the lake, we have a small commerce center within walking distance which has a Book Store, pub, local restaurants and a coffee shop. We are a 30 minute walk to Columbia City which has many fine restaurants to experience. We are 10 miles from SeaTac Airport in the southern part of the City of Seattle and we are 5.5 miles to downtown Seattle.
