We love that we are in an accessible part of the city with all the benefits of city living but in a neighborhood that feels like the suburbs. The house is a 1925 Craftsman home that has all the charm of a 1920s home but with all of the upgrades that make life easy and convenient. The front porch allows for enjoyable mornings and evenings to chat with neighbors, while the two story screened in back porch and open air deck let you have privacy and feel like you're in a tree house.
We’re close to the zoo, botanical gardens, world of Coca Cola, civil rights museum, high museum of art and so much more!
The space
Our house is a somewhat unique home! Situated close to the street, you enter the house from the upstairs to an open living space. Upstairs you'll find the kitchen, dining, and living area as one open space. Also upstairs is a bedroom, full bath and an office space. Both the kitchen and office space lead you to our upstairs screened in porch where you will feel like you are in a tree house!
Downstairs are two master bedrooms each with their own full bathroom, a sewing area with plenty of books and a door to the screened in lower level porch. Here, you will find another outdoor living space with plenty of games to entertain. This area walks out to a deck (with carport underneath) and stairs that lead to the fenced in back yard!
Guest access
The house is two stories with 3 outdoor living spaces. You can enter from the front (upstairs) or back using a short set of stairs.

Neighbourhood
The neighborhood is extremely friendly and very much a "front porch" neighborhood. You will find that many of our neighbors frequently walk the neighborhood and sit on their front porches so most people know each other. Our neighborhood also has a strong kid community especially elementary aged children so you will feel like its 1985 with all the kids playing outside until the street lights come on!
Getting to my home
Atlanta is home of the busiest airport, so you can easily arrive by plane!
Arriving by Car, most people will come in via I-85. We are 1 exit off I-20 when coming from I-85 making it easy and convenient no matter which direction you are coming.
Nearest airport
Atlanta: Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. We are about 15-20 minutes from the airport with traffic, so it is an easy uber!
Getting around
The nearest restaurants are about a 15 minute walk, with several more a 30 minute walk or 10-15 minute bike ride (otherwise about 5 mins or less by car). We are also about a 10-15 minute drive from all of the best restaurants in Atlanta.
The zoo is a 20-25 minute walk or 5 min (or less) car ride.
The aquarium is 5 miles away (15 min drive)
Botanical gardens and Piedmont Park are 9 miles away (20 min drive)
World of Coca Cola is 5 mins away (less than 20 mins drive)
Mercedes Benz Theater is 5 miles away (less than 15 min drive on most days, more when there are events). You can bike there, though in about 30 mins and save a little hassle.
There is a Marta Bus Station at the end of the street.
We are 3 miles from King-Memorial Marta Train Station and 3.5 miles from the Inman Park/Reynoldstown Marta Station which will take you directly to Mercedes Benz & other city locations.
