General Overview

Our London home is a characterful, well-equipped apartment with sunny, south-facing garden and terrace in Clapton, Hackney. It's just a short walk from some of East London's highlights, including excellent cafes, bars and restaurants, Chatsworth Market, London Fields, Victoria Park and the Lea Valley for hiking into the local wetlands and along the river Lea.

The Space

We have a modern, well-equipped kitchen and living room, with a breakfast bar as well as dining table. Our bedroom features ample storage and a king-size bed and a bay window with a desk and chair for those wishing to work. To the rear, we have a sunny, south-facing garden and terrace, lined with trees and plenty of local birdlife, providing a calm oasis from the city. Here, there's a barbecue and a six-seater table and chairs.

Neighbourhood

Clapton is a buoyant neighbourhood within Hackney – one of London's most charismatic boroughs. Within easy reach are some of London's best cafes, bars and restaurants, as well as a wide range of entertainment from cinemas and theatres to city farms and museums. It's also well located for those seeking green space, with the River Lea and its wetlands on the doorstep, Hackney Downs and Victoria Park and London Fields all just a short walk away, while the nearby Olympic Park is one of the city's most dynamic districts, combining nature, culture and shopping alongside outdoor sculpture.

Getting to my home

It's well connected to destinations throughout London via local stations Hackney Central or Hackney Downs, or the many buses that head to central London.

Nearest airport

All London airports are a maximum of 1hr30mins away from door to door. London Stansted can be reached in 1hr.

Getting Around

We are two minutes away from a wide range of supermarkets, bakeries, cafes and general stores. At the end of the road are a wide range of buses to various destinations throughout London. Hackney is a very walkable borough. Local rental bikes are also commonly found.
