Sophie

Hello there! We are a family of 4 from the beautiful Waiheke Island in New Zealand. We are Sophie (39) and Alain (42) and our two kids Inez (6) and Julian (3). We are a NZ-Dutch family, and both work as freelance designers. We lived for many years in Amsterdam, but have been back in New Zealand for the past 9 years. We are looking for house-swap opportunities in the Netherlands so we can see family and friends. Sophie's family lives in Amsterdam, Amstelveen, Haarlem, and Leiden, so we prefer those areas. But we know the transport system is good so we are open to other areas with a good public transport connection. We live a simple life here on Waiheke Island, and we swim every day at the beach. We are into healthy living and composting, gardening, riding our bikes, we like to immerse ourselves in the design scene, and outdoor activities like bushwalks and skiing. We are very careful with our belongings and care for our property well.
