General overview

Built by my great-grandparents in the 1950s, the house is cozy and charming with lots of natural light. There are two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and TV, the other is a nursery. There is a full dining room set, which has the potential of up to 6 places. The house is small, but comfortable and unique. It is situated in the most sought after part of town only a few minutes walk from many great bars, restaurants, and shops.

The space

The house has wood floors and large windows. The living room has a comfortable couch, lounge chair, and television. The dining room is attached with the kitchen connecting. There is a small hallway with the two bedrooms and bathroom adjacent. There is a front and backyard which are not fenced in. The property is on the corner of a fairly busy street.

Neighbourhood

The neighborhood is one of the oldest in town and features classic American architecture. The downtown area is a five minute walk and has the best restaurants, cafes, bars, and shops in town. There are often community events in the park two blocks away and many fun events throughout downtown. The neighborhood has lots of leafy, large trees and street parking. It is pedestrian and bicycle friendly and there are parks and trails very close by.

I’m a single mom with 18 month old twins. I work as a teacher and am hoping to find a month long exchange in either June or July.
